Would try it out, but it looks like I'll have to find some money to buy a link cable, or something, so I can get the BIOS ROMs from my PS2.
Sheesh, you'd think a certain Chinese site with 0-day GBA/DS ROMs (for those who don't know, posting new game ROMs as soon as humanly possible) wouldn't care enough about a lawsuit to have BIOS ROMs (I know emuxhaven considers BIOS ROM requests a bigger rule infraction than game ROM requests. Kinda curious? Because they'd reveal hardware trade secrets, making the hardware manufacturor even more angry?)

Not to bump this, but... The emulator is complaining about a missing 'd3dx9_26.dll' file. Which is funny because it's supposed to be part of DirectX 9.0c (which is installed).

Awesome. Does this release have support for VRAM debugging / watching? I want to see if a game I was looking at loads its own font or if it simply uses the bios font.

That Crysilion guy is a total ass. I've never seen that much change on a videogame EVER. Jesus Christ.

That said, the hack looks fucking interesting. I'm not too keen on some of the graphics, but that's not so important considering the amount of change he's implemented...

Well, I'm not really interested in DBZ but I do have a question about, of all things, the font. Did you make that font yourself? I'd like to steal it for one (or more) of my hack, just wanted to get permission first.

Oddly, I can't recall anyone who ever whined like a mule at byuu and I for how we "changed" Garrett to Ledin and Warsong into Langrisser ...

Maybe because there's a considerably smaller fanbase for Langrisser than for Phantasy Star? Maybe because the series is much more popular?

I'm Kitsune Sniper (real name David Silva), who, depending on who you talk to, can be either a cool guy or the antichrist. I've been around for over five years and have released many crappy translations, including the infamous "Even if it kills me" Ys III Famicom project. I also have many unfinished translations which will probably never see the light of day because of lack of time and will to finish them. Who knows.

I'm a translator. No, not like most hackers here, I actually -am- a translator, only I do English-Spanish stuff. I also live in Mexico, in the very pretty city of Mexicali, B.C. Not British Columbia, Baja California. I've only got to finish my thesis and I'll be done with my studies... then again I haven't even started my thesis.

I'm also jobless. Loveless. Heartless. Emotionless. And many other lesses.

I've worked for RPGd, Donut, and The Video Game Museum.

I collect DVDs...

... and I guess that's it.
