Guidelines for Mario/Luigi to position correctly after touching the axe:
•Where the bridge, rope and axe must be is at an even page number. E.G. 0,2,4, etc.
•Changing the speed of the player can result in either Mario too fast to stop at the default location, and vice versa.
•Defaults: Bridge - Horz. Pos. 1,
          Rope - Horz. Pos. 12,
          Axe - Horz. Pos. 13, 
          Scroll stop [next page] - Horz. Pos. 5.
•Sometimes, depends on the level itself, Mario touching the right edge of the axe can cause position instability and text might not appear.
I'm not sure whether the patches have a side effect on the scroll stop object.

Some translation issue that confuses users?
Enemies 3 > Bowser 2 > First World Bowser Breaths Fire- Only that it does not work that way. This option is to set for the only world which Bowser does not spit fire upon meeting.

Your best bet is to use Insectduel's SMB Utility, which makes SMB2J-like hacks, as there is no easy way around it. (The coding of both the upside Piranha plant and upside down pipes must have taken so much data...)

The number of world must have been planned out. This code doesn't interfere with other non-relevant codes in SMB2J in any way.

If you mean the one by betaworld, then there was too much stuff going on, and I couldn't save.

After creating the title in the tool, press the second button, and there will be a window pop up. Close it by pressing the first button in the pop up, then press the fourth button. If if a dialogue window appears only once instead of twice, then the title screen data is too big.

Instructions: After patching, in SMB Utility, you will see two "None (Upside down pipe)" located in V pos 15.
Side effects: Castle looping processes will be used, so you will no longer be able to use them.

You might want to use Insectduel's SMB Utility for SMB2J-like levels.

The objects are deliberately mislabeled because it corresponds to SMB2J-type levels, the type of SMB Utility you are using. And no, there is, unfortunately, no easy way to add custom blocks other than learning 6502 ASM. You could change what type of powerups could come out of the blocks though. There's an instant-spike patch which replace orange mushroom platforms, but I'm not sure if through the mapping and patching of the ISD SMB Utlity package will cause any side effects.

Have you ever used Beta's SMB title editor? That will save you a lot of time and even change title colour attributes, unless you want to do it this way.

Like many other unused enemies in SMB, it's a very unstable enemy. "The init routine of the spiny is set to InitEnemyFrenzy,  which also triggers the Lakitu." There's usually unexpected results of the stray Spiny's speed, ranging from stationary, very slow, normal moving to very fast moving; as well as hitbox properties.

I have a patch that can fix the number lives glitch if you think it could be helpful.

To put down additional information, the author of this patch is sjk-e351. Known as adjust_remain.ips .

2. Setting the maximum number of lives to 128 ($7f hex) so that (a) you never go beyond this limit, as is the case with the Game Boy Color port Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, though the maximum number of lives in the SNES Super Mario All-Stars version of SMB (and SMB2-J, here called SMB: The Lost Levels) for the NES is 99; and thus (b) no Game Over for losing your next life after racking up 129 or more lives.

That patch also exists. I think it was ShaneM who did the patch.

What is untranslated?
Bugs can't be fixed unless you specify where they are.

Right, the untranslated part that I noticed is when you made your changes from Basic Block/ Staircase properties, next to the button after you press "OK" will appear 変更有り, meaning "Changed". I could not find this line.

In the about section, the names are unchanged. Here's the list (Some unknown names are not translated. Leave it as it is) :

While I was able to locate this string, it's in a confusing hex form. I changed one number and the whole part will display an error upon opening. Post the line and what I should type in once you found them.

I also did some final polishing in your translations. Should look fine now.

Edit: The file size is there, but the zipped file itself is damaged. Looks like it's saved as a html file.

Will this do?  Didn't put in too much effort but should get the job done.

It would be great to see somebody upload a Super Mario Bros. 2 Japan Graphics patch to the original Super Mario Bros. It will be like the original game, but with the graphics as what we call The Lost Levels.

The level design isn't the best I've seen, but at least there's custom-coded music in there, unlike other Western SMB Hacks which sometimes use music patches.

I would say it looks a bit cramped though. But, since there are more images on display, I guess it could be the payback of the new addition. I wished there were just as much darker blues as there used to be.
