Change Map in Mega Man 4 ROM Hack using without Hex Editor.
1. Open MegaFLE X and Select ROM MegaMan4.nes
2. Click check box "Scene Screen Mode" and Select "2. Bank 12"
3. Level -> Screen Editor and Structure Table, TSA Table, Tile Table etc
4. For Edit Map, Left Click on Change Structure 32x32 in Screen Editor -> Select Structure using Window Structure Table
5. For Edit Tile , Right Click on Change Tile in TSA Table 16x16
6. File -> Save (F5) and Close MegaFLE X, Play Mega Man 4 NES ROM Hack your PC like FceUX Emulator

For Japanese ver. of Rockman 4 in MegaFLE X's Scene Screen Mode.
1. Click check box "Scene Screen Mode" and Select "2. Bank 12"
2. Other -> Graphics Load Editor and Select "Primary Gfx Load (Chosen ID)" Hex 3E for Cossack Fortress or 3F for Wily Castle
3. Click "Load as current level graphics (Primary Gfx Load only)." and Level -> Screen Editor
4. Don't Change Palette Editor like Sprites Map Path

Note: Open ROM Mega Man/Rockman 3~6 Only in MegaFLE X, not compatible with PureSabe's RM4MI (RM4 Hack) or Kuja Killer's MMO (MM3 Hack).
I'm sorry Korxroa.  I tried to figure out how to change the Map Paths by following the Instructions you gave me...and it got me even more lost.  Is this really the only way to Change the Map Paths?  Or is there a Simpler way that I do not know about?

Okay, but I  don't see the Lines/Corners on any of these Screens.  Unless I am Blind, is there any other way to change the Map Paths?  Or is this the only way to do it?

Thank You for the Mention of MegaFLE X.  However, now that the Utility has been downloaded, I have another question (Warning: NOOB Question Alert).  Which button do you click on the Utility to change the Map?  Or is there a Hex Editing Section?

Try Matrixz's Mega Man 4 Comprehensive Document this.
search type "Path" on Notepad.
Cossack/Wily Intro Level Path Sprite Data.

edit path sprite data via FceUX Debugger/Hex Editor.
Is Hex Editing the only way to edit the Map Screens?  I would prefer a Utility of some kind, if there is one, of course.

ROM Hacking Discussion / Re: Final Fantasy 4 PSX/PSP

Err - click on "ROM Hacks" on the column to the right
and search for it?
Okay, but I checked the ROM Hacks Section & there was nothing there.  What I meant is that if there is a Website, besides RHDN, that has either a ROMHack of the PSP Game or an Editor for me to do it myself.  The only other Hacking Site I know is SMWCentral, which, obviously, is SMW Hacks.

ROM Hacking Discussion / Megaman Fortress Map Change
« on: November 19, 2014, 01:10:18 am »
Dear RHDN users & Staff,
My name is GabrielJohn.  I have recently played the ROMHack "Rockman 4: Minus Infinity" & I noticed that the Fortress Map Paths were changed.  My question do you change the Map Paths?  I was wondering so I could try it for a Megaman Hack I plan to do in the Future.  If anyone can answer this for me, it would be Greatly Appreciated.

NOTE: There may very well be a way to do it via Hex Editing.  However, since I don't have a Sweet Clue what Hex is, let alone try to edit it, I am hoping there is a way to change the Map Paths WITHOUT Hex Editing.

Exactly what it says on the Title.  What is a Non-Compliant Hack   I would really like to know. :)

ROM Hacking Discussion / Final Fantasy 4 PSX/PSP

Dear RHDN users, my name is GabrielJohn.  I recently downloaded some Final Fantasy IV/Final Fantasy II Patches to play and they are really good.  My question(s) is:
Is there any ROMHacks of the PSX or PSP Versions of the game?
If not, then is there an Editor that can let me edit it myself?
If anyone can answer these questions for me, it would be greatly appreciated. :)

ROM Hacking Discussion / Prince of Persia Problems
« on: May 28, 2014, 10:35:16 pm »
Dear RHDN users, my name is GabrielJohn.  I recently been using the program Pr1SnesLevEd to create my own Prince of Persia ROMHack (later going to be named Prince of Persia: Journey to Freedom) for the Super Nintendo.  By the time I was done Level 3 (mostly), I noticed a few recurring problems that I wish to address to you all.  If anyone knows how to fix these Problems, I would be happy to know so I can continue on in my editing...
1) The Structure Around the Entrance and Exit Doors: You walk on the tile with part of the Door Structure...and you fall through the Floor.
2) The Exit Door Open Switch Doesn't Work: Even though I clearly pressed the Open Switch to open the Exit Door, the Exit would not open
3) I have to fight every enemy (in this case, Golden Skeletons) even after they are dead.

Newcomer's Board / How do you change the music in Megaman 3
« on: April 17, 2014, 08:47:52 pm »
Dear RomHacking Community,
I have played a Megaman 3 ROMHack named MM3: Dr.Wily Visits Indonesia.  It is a very good hack.  One thing I noticed when playing this Hack, though, is that the music is changed.  For example, in Skull Castle, the 1st 2 Wily Stages are Sonic Music, the 2nd 2 Wily Stages are the Darkman Fortress Theme from Megaman 5, and the last 2 Wily Stages are the Megaman 1 Boss Battle Theme.  The Skull Castle Boss Theme is also the Final Boss Theme from Megaman 6.  The question I have is how do I change the music for my hack?
