Gaming Discussion / Re: Games that are not emulated properly (or at all)
« on: August 26, 2013, 11:55:47 am »
Epsxe 1.8 complaints (same as older versions)

Music STILL wont play in the classic Project Overkill

Gameday 97 the whole game corrupts itself after playing the first game in season mode, if you play an exhibition game then you can go on  to play season mode, but then the stats are all out of whack and dont add up (takes the fun out of season mode). Gameday 96 and 97 are the ONLY good psx football games. They were simple and well programed. Simple in the sense it looks great with clean 3D stadiums and upscaled 2D sprites.

I hope Hokuto No Ken (fist of the north star) finally works, need to test that next

Also it does not use software graphics rendering as efficiently , needed by games like the original ROAD RASH

I explained what makes the game cool. The fact that its a in depth WRPG character building system in an elderscrolls esque world for N64. The game is rare because the cart was HUGE , tons of megs.

Well Aidyn Chronicles is an obvious throwback to the 80s Wizardry games and others like it WRPG wise. I love it because the graphics and game system.

The battles can be sped up with the Z button. And you only MISS a lot of attacks when your in your early levels. Once the game gets going its engrossing. I literally lose hours when other games have me shut them off after 20 minutes. RPGs included. Im enjoying this more than PIER SOLAR

This game you either love it or hate it. Look at Gamefaqs, it either gets rated a 9 or 10 , or a 1 or 2. I've never seen a game so divided with love/hate for it.

Fantastic Western RPG for the N64 that uses the expansion pack to make the graphics even prettier. It was designed by one of the creators of the Dungeons & Dragons paper n pencil game . There is very deep character customization. Creation of your own armor and weapons as well as spells with ingredients/

What turns most people off is that the world map is HUGE and your only method of travel is to walk everywhere. So you can sink hours into the game from just traveling and fighting. The main story can be beaten in around 50 hours. Everything extra is rumored to take an extra 30 hours or so.

Im 3 hours in having a blast. Graphics are so pretty (though very SHARP polygons) look at these boobs

Thank you Gideon for your response AND for the games patch.

This is all new to me since I haven't been able to get the patch to work on ANY emulator since 2009. The latest version of SNES9x runs it perfectly

on the latest version of SNES9x. I never was able to get the game going on any emu without it crashing.

I see pics online of the battle menu perfect, what emu are they using? My menu ends up looking like this

It was an official Tecmo game that was canned, It was going to  be a PAL exclusive. Either way the  ROM is floating around and its a complete game story mode and all with ending. It plays like a faster less refined version of CT3 for the SNES

I know that we got Tecmo Soccer for the NES but the graphics were butchered and totally 'americanized' and killed the anime and character the game (and anime series) was known for  in Japan.

I recently found this game for the Genesis, totally by Tecmo untouched by the west.

20 bux is worth it

I did it before with ease when it first came out. I guess I've gotten dumber over the years. I have all 3 programs and the Japanese character script but I cant get ATLAS and ATHG to work in unison. I made a bat file to start Anex and ATHG simulataneously I think the problem is with atlas? I have full version
