I would make it by default. The movement speed and turning speed is god awful slow. It will discourage players and also it could use some re-balancing.. This game is extremely unforgiving...

Dude, just run the original ROM that you used in creating the patch with into ROM Hasher then copy/paste the hashes on the hack's page. That page was edited several times just for the ROM Info already.  >:(

Hey buddy, my info was right from the beginning.  I used the NO-INTRO tool on their website to convert my GoodNES files. ::)

Give me Hasttab or give me death! :P

According to NOINTRO at the time, it was a good dump. Guess it changed.

Your FAQ was a big help in doing this project. The game is very unforgivable though... Good luck!  :)

I have a question about something that I am wondering can be solved.. Is there a way to make it when you are in the dungeon that when you turn left or right to make it go faster? The game play is god awful slow when it comes to moving around these dungeons.

Is there a chance of adding CHR type animated overworld tiles like how they did it on the FDS version where the ocean water has movement? This would be great also for the palaces and towns also if someone were to edit the tiles and add animated backgrounds.

Thanks for sharing this information, i was able to get it working. Great work!

One request, can you please translate dracula II fds? That would be so awesome. :P

Either way, thanks for all you continued work and dedication!  :cookie:

You mean Castlevania II? You should check this hack out by Bisqwit if you are a Castlevania II fan. It's a great rework of the classic. http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/1032/

Its weird that they did that game in all English. It was like they were going to release it for an English audience but then decided not to. The differences between the 2 are tracks and an option to Watch Races in the older version which is not that important really.

Originally when I started this project, I had to look for another version of this ROM to work on as the one I have in the NOINTRO set and GoodSet was corrupt w/ garbled graphics. Just search around and find one that matches the hash that is listed under the translation and you will be ok, it is out there. If you got the correct ROM, beat will patch it with no problems but if you have the incorrect one, it will say it failed.

Pretty sure this has compression or encoding too... Won't be an easy one to do.

yay... *sees ROM requirement* -_- really? dammit! now i have to go and download an entire friggin romset just to play a singe translation. >.<

NOINTRO this (sega genesis), NOINTRO that (snes), NOINTRO this (SMD). SO annoying.  :banghead: i'm not even sure where to find that particular romset for sega consoles anymore. i used to have the goodset romset but accidentally deleted it a while back. :/

If you have a goodset, you probably got the good rom already. Just check the hash with Hashtab :)

Congrats! If you ever feel like taking on Bistro Cupid let me know. Braveknight might be cool too.

Im not really into doing the visual novels.. For the most part the xbox games are pretty easy to do unless they got compression but I haven't seen too much of that so far. You can use a Shift-JIS table to see everything for the most part in the Xbox games.

If any translators are available, I can give the scripts for SMT NINE

Me and Jink640 were talking about Xbox games one day and realized there aren't too many Japanese ones so in looking for some we found this one among a few and decided to give it a go. The next xbox one we got coming soon will be Thousand Land which is a bit like Populous but it has some fun concepts and strategy involved. Here are some examples of how it plays - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-VTDiKSOJ0

Nice translation ... I assume that the title similarity with Takeshi's Challenge is purely a coincidence?

Beat Takeshi was involved with that game as well as this one but this one is based on his game show concept while the other one is completely separate from Takeshi's Castle.
