So, I spent the time and money building my own cart of this game and after everything I started the game up and played for a bit. After saving I soon realized that the hackers never finished the translation. I'm guessing it wasn't found as the game doesn't like to save on emulators, so they didn't notice it.

This translation now has the corrected, "Continue" spelling when starting your saved game. You can see it below.

There is a FONT option to make them smaller in each of the 3 fields (Options > Set Font), like he said.

I don't know if you still need it but in the small graphic you posted, it looks like
X = 実行 or Practice.

How about "Run" as in run away or run the commands you've entered.

Would anyone else have any time to throw me their best translation. I appreciate the help.

I've been trying to figure out how their group did the translation and I'm dumbfounded. I've attempted to reverse "engineer" the packer they did but I'm having some trouble here. I know it's xdelta, but I've been trying to see how it's being used and on what files.

You can also build your own table in notepad and then save the file as FF5.tbl

That's how I do my tables, using windhex's internal prog is okay, but TAKES FOREVER sometimes.

I have a template TABLE font document with 00 to 9F already listed and I just delete what I don't need.

I tried it and it worked on the first guy well enough however I could actually use help with the hex editing cause I want to change the opening story text I assume that I could do that with the hex. So if someone could help me understand it better or if this is the wrong place to ask direct me to where I can.

I make reproductions for my own personal use. Once, I realized how much work and motivation goes into these hacks/translations, I would never sale anyone's work, unless it was mine. The repro business wouldn't have a business without you guys/girls.
