Are you trying to retranslate the game that is already in English, or is this a different one?

Biomotor Unitron 2 or Kikouseki Unitron, was a japanese only title.

I've been working on this game for awhile by hand and I'm exhausted. Does anyone have the desire to help me export the text via cartographer? I'd be beyond grateful as will my translator buddy. Thx.

To avoid the extra work, you can easily post it on an ISO site and create a blog to identify the location. The blog will be used on RHDN. That way you don't need to do any patches and Romhacking.net doesn't get in trouble for ISO related legalities.

very nice work. Are you working with Rosedcoloredgaming, or are they releasing a repro game with the old patch?

updated. Adding video soon.

I could never find where the text was hidden for the stage select etc. The Portuguese translator never got back to me.

Script Help and Language Discussion / Re: Battle commands - NGPC game
« on: April 06, 2015, 04:44:09 pm »
I've never seen this game, but I suppose those could be the names of the attacks.

"Fallenのつめよ!!" could be "Fallen's hook!!" and "Bladesのカマよ!!" could be "Blades' sickle!!".

Just look up in a dictionary the words between の and よ and pick the most coherent meaning. :P

Hi Mz,

Thank you for the assistance. Are you a native speaker or a student, etc.? Thanks again,

Script Help and Language Discussion / Battle commands - NGPC game

As you've known I've been working on this game quite a bit (Biomotor Unitron 2), however over the last year I've been working at a new job and lost time working on it. I'm interested in finding out how to work the battle system better, but I'm not understanding the flow.

For example. An enemy goes to attack, but "の" is added at the end of the enemy's name and I get the following command as seen below. Any idea?

Fallenの
つめよ!!

Blades の
カマよ!!

There are a few others, would anyone care to assist me in the meaning of these? I think there would be about 4 more similar to what you see above. Thanks Again.

I've been manually translating a few games now and gosh darn how stressful it is. I was wondering if anyone could like to take a crack at helping me.

The game is biomotor unitron 2 for the NGPC. You can see the work I've done so far, but I'd definitely like some professional help. I have a new site neogeoplanet.com and I'd like to see these awesome games get completed.

女性 can also refer to one singular woman.

So it could be

Woman staring into the distance: "Dialogue"

Thanks, I think we're both right. I see another line with the NPC labeled as "Girl Chewing Gum", basic dialogue below.

チューインガムの女の子 - Girl Chewing Gum

チューインガムの女の子:/N^t[1]^c[15]ん? ローザのばあちゃんに用? Are you seeing Grandma Rosa?

^n^t[-2]/P^n^t[1]だったら 階段の先の部屋にいるよ^n^t[-2]/P/E[END] She's straight ahead up the stairs. (paraphrased)

チューインガムの女の子:/N^t[1]^c[15]ん? 反重力フキ 探してんの? What? Are you looking for the Flying Fuki (Giant Butterbur)?
^n^t[-2]/P^n^t[1]^c[15]ほら、ちょうど後ろにある^nでっかい葉っぱのことだよ You know, it's at the huge leaves behind you.
^n^t[-2]/P^n^t[1]^c[15]あれで ガーディアンのいる^nズブロ村に行けるんだよな^n^t[-2]/P/E[END] It will take you to the Guardian Zuburo Village.

Sorry, but I can't understand the word 'tech-support' It's confusing me.

And the sarcasm continues. If you're using a specific set of software, I would go to their forum, or one that supports it. Some people may know about it here, but it's always better to go to the source.

遠くを見つめる女性

Women who stare off into the distance? Almost all parts of the etcmess.ffx file have a set pattern. Who's speaking: Dialogue blah blah. That phrase comes at the  who's speaking part.

Thanks

Someone translated it to Portuguese just a few days ago. The guy said whoever programmed it was lazy as hell.

So, I have the translation ready, but I can't find the text. I'm assuming there's compression? Any idea. Am I SOL?

Download included. I lost a lot of my work, so I'm going to have to start at square one with inserting text, the rest isn't bad.
