Super Boss Gaiden V 1.2 got released!

Changes include:
- miscelangelous fixes for reported small bugs
- an optional challenge for a slightly altered ending: Try to carry the lobby piano through the game till the ending!

Super Boss Gaiden 1.1 has been released this week and the project page got updated with new info.

On January 2018 the V 1.1 update got released. Changes include:
- general improvements to the game engine for more stability and better framerate
- additional animations for player 2 & 3 to make them more fun to play
- slight changes in gameplay and gameflow along with small bug fixes to improve overall experience

Oh boy that animation is so beautiful it almost looks out of pace in this colorful but simple-looking Mario game.

I am super pumped for this! Super Famicom Wars has been a couch multiplayer game for me and some friends which are really into Advance Wars  for years, but the translation will make it much more enjoyable for a bigger range of people :)

For those who didn't recognise it during the 20th anniversary (I kinda tried to make it viral on twitter and youtube), I released a small challenge version hack for all Terranigma fans to test their skill in the first chapter of the game. Even with a highscore at the end!

The real time clock of Daikaijuu Monogatari II is already supported on sd2snes... And the game is also produced by RED/Hudson.
Are you really sure the RTP is on the same chip as the graphic decompression Gideon? I have no idea, but from pure logic it would make sense that it's a seperate chip and the same one previously used with DM2.

Just wanted to post an update on where things currently stand.

I finished playing through the game last week, and uploaded a new version of the patch that fixed all the things I noticed while playing.

I also want to announce that Eien Ni Hen is the one that was reviewing the script's translation, which is great because she also did the translation work for Aeon Genesis' Romancing Saga 2 translation. She has volunteered to also edit and proofread the script, so it may take a bit longer for a final release, but it will be worth the wait.

Those are great news! I already had the pleasure to work on the same project like her (Arabian Nights) and her translation was outstanding!

It's from the same publisher like Pier Solar, but from a different programmer (should be easy to figure out who's behind this ;) )
