There was one last textroutine fix shortly before release, I guess it caused this. Every textglitch was reported and fixed during betatesting and this never happened to us.

Hooray! As a beta tester I can already say that the translation is marvelous and the game and story absolutely great. Everybody should give this hidden gem a try, I am pretty sure it will amaze a lot of people!

And better don't mind Isao Kronos too much. He seems to like trolling and putting on fights: Googling his Username shows me that he is already banned from starmen, hardcore gaming 101, Fangamer and many more sites...

No accent, but he is talking like somebody who is doing a ritual or preaching. The voice acting is pretty outstanding to say the least, since it fits the text very well (the guy preaches about the end of world through the reincarnation of Dracula). Pretty surprising imo, the target audience couldn't understand the language anyway xD

You need to share this in the hardcore gaming 101 boards, there are people which will likely jump on it and write an article in an instant. xD A good bunch of people there seem to love obscure and original Chinese and Korean games :)

I just saw it as a lesser version of the SFC Original (just as the GBA), but that version's graphics actually seem to have a lot of charme! And it seems to have exclusive contend!
So good job on translating so far and thanks for giving this port some needed attention

:o Was the compression routine already implemented in TerraCraft? Transfering edited tilesets to Terranigma would be ace!

Edit: Nevermind, just realised that the compression routine for Terranigma still need to be figured out.

A game can be good without the best graphics... Final Fantasy IV is still considered to be one of the best Final Fantasys and was remade uncountable times. It also was one of the first Super Famicom RPGs and on top of that probably originally developed for NES, just like this game.

He rebalanced the game and added new features to get the full potential the game had. Additionally you didn't read the thread really well, he also rewrote the script to connect the story properly.

I simply can't see the point why somebody should hate on this, but I probably just got trolled right here.

First up big thanks for this nice release!

I can't promise to do a full betatest, but I am excited to try this out soon. I will leave some feedback after I played a little bit. If it's fun I will play it from start to end :)

G.O.D. might not be the best RPG on the SFC since the battle system and presentation is pretty generic, but the good plot and interesting setting make up for this. I really hope it gets translated at some point.

This hack is a pretty neat idea. I would actually really love to play it after you are done... Avoided the game so far because of the negative reviews, even though it seemed interesting.

I love how you care about the details which are hardly emulated yet
Waiting for this translation with my fingers crossed that your high motivation doesn't cool down. You guys are awesome!

Shit just got real - Nice work! I hope this will get a good hacking project once the GB Everdrive is out... It's one of my favorite GB Classic games :)

Cool, thats nice to hear!
And one final question others also might have:
Are animations and movement patterns hard coded or can they also be changed (in the current or later versions)?
Afterwards I will keep the other small questions for checking by myself once I finally boot it up next time I get back to my CT-Project^^

Gotta iddle aroud with this in the near future, marvelous release :)

ROM Hacking Discussion / Re: Street Fighter Alpha 2 SNES decompressed?
« on: February 05, 2014, 11:08:03 am »
I remember how somebody asked for the same thing at SNESfreaks. It would make the game playable on a sd2snes, just like the decompressed Star Ocean, right? I would like to see that shared somewhere, too.  :woot!:
