the first one was a file not compatible with mac and i did not notice it, so the first one simply did not open the second one was much simpler, it was a software with just "open rom" and i tried opening it, it showed an error message saying "wrong file type"
i'm using fceux to change palette as usual, but it doesn't seem to find the color on rom hex, so i look on ppu and wham there it is but it resets everytime it resets, so i go on nes memory, there it is layed out the way I'm familiar with and i change that but wham it doesn't change anything, I'm very confused. would love a help.

i am currently making a romhack of super mario collection (file type is .fig), i am using mac but i cannot find a one for mac soi have to use wine but i can't find an editor that works on .fig type, would love a help thanks!
i am trying to make a rom hack of smb2 and i want to extend the white part of the eye but i don't know how , i assumed it was a separate sprite and i can change the color of it but i don't know how it works and where it is and what it is, please help
