An incredible effort. I cannot thank the creators enough for all their time spent in making this. What an amazing last 12 months the PCE-CD has had with Sailor Moon, Madou Monogatari and now this. It's nice to see that it's finally receiving some attention!

This is amazing! I cannot wait to give this a try. It's so rare and refreshing to see a PCE-CD translation and usually means this must have taken a lot of work and effort. So a big thank you to all involved.

Filler recently made an attempt this year to reignite the PCE translation scene by dumping a few HuCard PCE scripts and even posting on the above forum link where the PCE programmers hang out.  Though I think most of them are busy tied up with other projects at the moment so if you can't get hold of the programmers then Filler may be able to help you with the script dumping part of the project. Best of luck with it.

No it's just been on hold for a while. The projects translator SamIAm has recently had 2 children so simply doesn't have the time at the moment. Elmer has previously stated that both games have been translated with mainly just the audio dubs to be reinserted but that'll be a lot of work. The guys have stated over on the Sunteam PC Engine website they are still onboard to see the project through so it'll get there but we just need to be patient!

Legend of Xanadu I & II for the PC Engine.

Love this game but had resigned to the fact that I thought it would never be done! Translation is looking great and I can't wait to play it!

Always grateful for a PC Engine translation but this was one of my most wanted translations of all time! Finally I'm getting somewhere in the game after 30 years! Thanks to both of you for your hard work.

The PC Engine definately deserves more love in the translation scene which is bizare considering the sheer amount of quality JRPG's and exclusive Japanese titles it has.

From what I gather here is the state of the current scene;
CD-ROM
Legend of Xanadu I & II - (translated but awaiting dubbing to be finished by elmer / SamIAm)
Cosmic Fantasy 1 (in progress - Dave Shadoff)
Dead of the Brain I & II (French translation in progress - Dave Shadoff)
Tengai Makyou Ziria (Tom &? Maybe EsperKnight who was working on it previously? Tom has expressd a desire to translate the Tengai Makyou games for the PC Engine, starting with Ziria but he wants to finish Zill O'll first).
Emerald Dragon (the project has been resurrected by NightWolve and he has been posting updates on his Twitter page).
Startling Odyssey II (Tru) (machine translated) (Not accepted by many to be a genuine translation but it's playable enough).
Seiya Monogatari (script extracted by Elmer but not translated)
Tenshi no Uta 1 & 2 (preliminary analysis being conducted by Elmer)

HuCard

Gai Flame (translated and completed but for some reason it has not been uploaded on the Romhacking website).
City Hunter (Filler / Cabbage - script translated, currently being reinserted/hacked).
Victory Life (script extracted by Filler).
Cyber Knight (the intro and some early parts of the game has been translated by Megatron-UK but appears he has abandoned the project - https://github.com/megatron-uk/cyberknight-pce).
