yeah i had some problems at first getting the game to load too. Originally i had the untranslated bios and that worked fine but when i tried to patch it to english I noticed i had 3 bios files, a .bin, a.smc and a .sfc and they all had different names but the same crc32 number so i patched all of them and renamed them to bs-x and tried them one at a time until it finally worked when i used bs-x.bin thanks to trial and error. I also had a hard time just finding the correct roms as they were not in any of my complete romsets but after a half hour of google and duckduckgo I was finally able to locate them. So yeah getting this to run was quite a process.

yes it works on snes9x. you need the bs bios file. if your using retropie it has to be named correctly and placed in the bios folder. i think its bs-x.bin . You then have to load the game through the bios program town thing. (the town whose name was stolen) go to your house and load the game. I used the english translation of the bios file.

I had never heard of this game before and I'm not really a golf guy but I've spent a few hours playing this over Christmas break and I've had a blast. Its fun and challenging and there's a lot of content to enjoy. I definitely enjoyed this  a lot more than I thought I would. Thanks for making this available to the English speaking world.

Congratulations on the release! I was hoping this one would get the fan translation treatment, but had lost hope after the patch for Returns came out. Thankfully I can lay those worries to rest! I actually came across a minor bug, though. On the Start menu (as in the one in-game, not the file select screen), the second row of text flickers between the proper text and garbage. If it helps, I'm using FCEUX 2.2.2.

i think thats just an emulator issue, its referenced in the readme. Im playing this on retropie and i have the same problem when using the lr-fceumm core but not with the lr-nestopia core. so the solution is to just use a different emulator.

hmmm i grabbed the addendum patch of chaos world the other day, havent played it yet but if aeon genesis was gonnna released a revised version of it in the future ill probably just wait for that, i would of assumed that the author of the addendum would of got Gideon`s blessing before he released it though since it was based on his earlier work.

ah cool. i was not expecting this till probably the next holiday at least. lots of translations seem to be dropping on holidays lately. ive played a little bit and it seems like its my cup of tea. im curious about how the parley and friend points system work? I know the read me touched on it a lil but im still kinda confused. Im off tomorrow so i plan on spending part of my day enjoying this so maybe ill figure it out as i play through. anyways thanks for the release and i def appreciate all the hard work that went into this.

or a cheaper option  just get a raspberry pi and install retropie on it. you can even use snes controllers on it with the right adapter.

What systems do you primarily play? Could go for Cyber Knight 1 and 2 on SNES.

pretty much any of the classic systems. snes is probably the one i play the most. Ive got 2 retropie machines. one is a raspberry pi and the other is an old core2quad desktop paired with an gt740 that i use for the systems the pi cant run (like gamecube and dreamcast) I think i have both the cyber knights in my collection but havent played them. perhaps ill check um out.

Snatcher & Policenauts are really good Sci-Fi themed games.

I wanted to give snatcher a try for the msx but ive been having some trouble finding the romset for it.

just curious if anyone has any suggestions for a good sci themed game? Ive played thru psy-o-blade and star cruiser lately and im craving more of the genre . Ive probably found at least 5 contenders (Lagrange point, vixen 357, x-serd, galaxy robo and metal slader glory) Im hoping to add a few titles to the list that i haven't discovered yet. open for suggestions. thanks

im enjoying this so far. question. im playing this on retropie and ive noticed that on some screeens that theres these weird graphical glitches outside the games display. is anyone else getting these? it does not seem to affect the gameplay. just curious. pretty sure i used the right rom too.

So, I've never posted here really but i've been been using romhacking.net and other translation related sites /forums for at least a decade. i read the forums often usually just for news and to get the general buzz about new releases. so the fact that when a gem like La Wares gets translated and theres not a blip in homepage news it is kinda disturbing.

ive sunk at least 2 dozen hours in this translation since it came out around christmas. This is a great translation, the help section is great. I have played this on several different versions of snes9x and not had any emulation/gameplay issues. At work i play it on my phone and on windows and at home i play it on my snes classic using the default emulator. I have not had any text or graphical glitches at all. This game is awesome. You can just dive right in and play the maps in whatever order you want. This instantly became one of my favorites. I'm curious to see whats in store for the 20th av version coming up in a few months.

i put this on my snes classic and beat it the other day. the only bug i noticed was in the sub level a few screens over from the secret exit there was these 2 random grey squares that seemed out of place. other than that it played great ( i didnt use luigi though)

hi guys, new to the group. first post. I had always heard this was one of the better sfc rpgs so I just started playing this last night and I'm a few hours into it so far. the time system is interesting, This morning when i started the game back it told me today was the last day of winter break. i can see how this would up he replay value. so far the game seems pretty polished. the battle system view remind me of super shell monsters story . the graphics seem pretty top notch too. So far id say this game is living up to the hype. Im guessing its probably not a good idea to use save states in this game? seems that would mess up the time system so ive just been saving at inns and stuff the official way. also game works perfectly on snes9x custom build.
