Let me Google it for you...

Let's see, "I noticed it moved several times"... I couldn't find those "several times", in fact, there only seems to be just one move, and then right there is a link to the new place, the last version number that was hosted there, etc. Also, it's not too difficult to figure out which one is the place with the highest version number, newest date, etc.

None of us (except the author, of course) can know for sure if that's really the latest version; so don't be such a lazy person and you do the work (for once...) Also, instead of using Zophar's, you could have used RHDN from the start: you would have found jPSXdec, what's the latest version, who's the author, how to contact him, etc.

Also, this is the "Newcomer's Board", you should probably read the board description...

(And something completely off topic and not related to you in any way, but: wow, some people are incredibly used to other people doing absolutely everything for them. They never even say thank you, when 99% of their posts should start that way, since all they do is just ask and ask. And what's even worse, if there's just one time when they don't receive an answer, they go to the forums of the shittiest emulator and complain about how fucking shitty that community is for not doing everything one asks for.)

TIM ViewerWebsite: defunct
It's not defunct. Zophar is defunct.

TIM Viewer's website is: http://rveach.romhack.org/

Also, all of the other utilities are way too outdated and nowadays are mostly useless. You can probably do all the things they do and a lot more with just jPSXdec... And that's multi-platform and open source.

I know what Kaiju means, but what's the deal with the oh in the title?
That "oh" (王) is "king"; so it's something like "king of the monsters": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaijū-ō_Godzilla.

I'll write how I'm understanding those sentences, but I'm still a Japanese beginner and really bad at English too.

さいごに おしえてやろう+
たたかいに まけたものは/n
めいきゅうのそとへ+
とばされることに なっている/n
…こんなふうに だ;

Having fought your way through the labrynth,
It is that way.
"Finally, I'll tell you: in battles, the loser will be shunted out of the maze. It's like this."

あ~~れ~~。。。つ!
That person!! (she spits)
"Ahh--!" (Or something like that... Depends a lot on the context, I believe.)
That last character wasn't "つ", but "っ", which means glottal stop or “choked sound”.

Hopefully something here is useful. :P

西暦2XXX年、地球はX星から宣戦布告を受けた。太陽系の惑星軌道上を舞台として、ゴジラ、モスラと宇宙怪獣の壮烈な戦いが今始まる。

I'm not really good with Japanese, but it looks like a very accurate translation. I think that only the "our guardians" part was added in the English translation.

Do you have all this crap installed?:

   Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x86 9.0.30729.6161

   Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x64 Runtime - 10.0.40219

   Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 Service Pack 2
   Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile
   Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Extended
   Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Multi-Targeting Pack

Besides all those, once I tried to execute it, it started asking me for many SDL-related dll files, which I couldn't be bothered to look for... So: nope, I was not able to run it.

Any suggesions/ideas/help, please?
Yes, describe better what your problem is: instead of only saying "I can't get this one to work", explain exactly what you're doing, what you expect to happen and what actually happens. Provide every error message, ROM checksum, header or not, programs used, etc.

And かいなよ isn't even correct grammar.
買いな is the short version of 買いなさい: 買いなよ.

EDIT: eh, too late. :D

Does anyone know any general ASM for loading text?
It looks like loading any other byte.

Put a breakpoint to the RAM address where the text is. You should find the text-loading routine easily from there...

No. I don't think you need anything, besides the main program.

Yes, IDA Pro should be able to do that and a lot more.

ROM Hacking Discussion / Re: PCSXTrace plugins?
« on: January 13, 2013, 07:08:59 pm »
"Error Opening CDR Plugin"... That can't mean that every CDR plugin doesn't work, it's probably just one. So...

1. Delete every plugin in your plugin folder and only put Mooby there.
2. Make sure PCSXTrace is not using a different/old plugin folder (if you've used *any* version of PCSX before, the registry still points to that old folder).

さいごま = to the end
でくれて= choosing
[...]

I don't know what the hell that character is after あ
It says: さいごまで あそんでくれて.

"Thank you for playing" is OK, I think. A terrible and literal translation would be something like "Thank you for giving us the favor of having played to the end", I guess; although I'm most likely wrong. :D

This is actually a hardware fault of the PSX. Its 3D hardware has no z-buffer which is responsible for storing depth information. So the developers have to implement their own mechanisms to handle stuff like sorting which objects appear in front of which objects and there can be rounding errors and other things that cause polygons to go unstable as you put it from one frame to the next. As far as I know this isn't something that can be fixed by a plugin since it's just how the hardware fundamentally works.
I think I've read somewhere that this z-buffer theory was inaccurate... All that polygon jumping was due to PSX doing all the coordinates processing in just 8 bits or something like that.

Anyway, some people had already fixed that in some GPU plugins, for example this guy multiplied by 32 the PSX resulution for this and games look a million times better with no pixel jumping at all: http://pcsxr.codeplex.com/discussions/264234. It has been since then merged into PCSX-Reloaded and a few other plugins have this too, I believe.

...But, in my humble opinion, 99% of PSX games still look crap when they're upscaled.
