I played MWW a lot and
it's interesting see fangames like the 16 bit game.
(The music from Mww also is
very good)
I suppose that with
the Megadrive vst is easier
do tracks than use VOPM or
directly a tracker.

Another untranslated psx game.

There's a port of PSP.
No idea about changes.

Try Megaman Hyperion 3 or 5

The sword familiar bug in shop works, it was like infinite money.
I didn't try the weapon-death bug, I have no idea to do that well.

With mp3 music, brutal  :beer:

really in this game it's the spirit (the hero moves and ask to the player)
The code change to Female spirit,
I have no idea about if it's possible make a patch,
so maybe can be possible a "female spirit patch" always.
I have tools to translate the game made in 2011,
it's a big 6MB xml

The romhackers actually don't try things with this game,
I'm only the spanish translator that also tries to fix bugs,
and content censored.
Some of this content can be seen in the cutting room floor,
but maybe there is more censored.

I will try change any part with
text that can be different
with that code using Dolphin cheats.

Tested the code and tried
change a selection (of a lot that was copy-paste in usa)

Without code (male 1)
With code (female 2)

So they disabled that function
to have less text to translate in english.

And I don't know how to make a patch to restore/always enabled the female spirit.
Maybe someone discover a way in a future.

I'm translating this game
and there's text about
select gender, File_60006009

With the Us version there's only Male, and that Window is skipped.

The script usually has
2 texts, with same content,
maybe the first is for male and the other message is for female.

I didn't checked that,
with the code

Female spirit (NA)
042D8760 00000001

Female can be always and maybe I can try if the text changed.
But I can't add again the spirit gender selection when you start a new game...

I suppose that there is a context,
some early spanish translations
was made by teams that some times
did all like a funny translation (Chilensis)
Magno made a good spanish translation, (also ported to psx)
There's some more out there.

Seeing the images I only
see as problem the limit
for weapons names, etc

I used more colors so only
"Looks" like an 8bit game.
First using cheats to have
all items to dump many things from the sachen rom,
They used Red color a lot.

About the battle system,
Sachen game it's similar to RE gaiden, I thought if made
battles like Sweet home, but
finally I moved to an Action system.
No idea about if it's too much work via Romhacking.

From the original game.
I saw the "random" hp of the
Weapons had X attack,
but a zombie for example can
have 40-80 HP,
changing of map, the
hp change, so every time
the gameplay changes.

I did set random range of attack
power only.

Resident Evil Demake,
I made the game like an enhanced 8bit version of Sachen's Biohazard.
I made/edit sprites,
music (well I had all tracks in midi, so only have to sync all or the tracks sound weird as chiptune)
Menus/puzzles/computers graphics,
maps, etc

All unpacked

I had problems but I changed to redump version. And without use turbo. Atleast bettlepsx can freeze.
Amazing work with this game,
another game that is like new released
for all the community out of japan.

I want to do that for Baten kaitos Origins and Dolphin support the upscaled textures.

But with my PC I can't make the IA thing, it's very old. But the gpu can run the BK series well. Radeon 4870 512MB

With Bettle psx at 2x nope.
Only use CPU and Bettlehw doesn't work for me.

A sega saturn 2 moded, + joypad 2 + rgb + mem cartridge, here they sell the pack around 150-200 bucks.
An psx moded, joypad + Rgb 30-40 bucks.

So If you sold your Sega saturn in Spain atleast, get one back it's pay much or use emulators.
Looks like try to buy a NeoGeo.

SSF can emulate a lot of games
working fine with intel core 2 duo or better.
Mednafen runs at 44Fps with my core 2 duo at 2.66Ghz. (5Fps in 2018)
No idea about Yabause, 15 years old and Dark Savior doesn't work, unplayable.

The music is visible as XA?
Because there's f*** LBA system
for files, every song read a position 2 position.
So there's pointers,
and with files the XA needs to have the same size or recalculate pointers (no idea)
Needs to know romhacking to modify file system.

I remember swap discs with psx.
And that happens.
For example.
Tony hawk 3, swap to tony hawk 2,
play tracks selection, I heard "parts" of the second game (from x position to y, because want to reproduce the TH3 start-end tracks by position, but in TH2 the tracks lba is other)

Same happens with Cdda.
Mortal kombat trilogy music in Rayman. Lol

Sometimes the games made weird things, FF6 in overworld without
battles, works like a trick.

They talk much about
don't use pure black borders with sprites in indie games because the LCD saturation now.

Some games has very line-cut tiles, as Ff5 from Steam.
The meteor tiles, with lines between tiles.
Even in world map.
Giana sisters hd too in some stages. Fails directly.

I know that there's a single option but I reach the beginner house after change the mode. This isn't a easy type hack, yes
Only say that can be interesting having all of this hack done.
Make another one only with
-All jobs available

Yeah, I know that of this way can be very easy.
If Void divergence has stronger enemies, add all.

There's a tool I think to change the monsters so maybe I can do that. But I don't know make the part of access all jobs,
only original jobs via cheat codes.

Only an idea.

PD: The maps with sequences of auto scroll, make little jumps.
For example, in the Intro, with the dragon flying.
I suppose that the fast-walk hack affect to this, btw the game continues.

I tried the hack but I think knowing that there's new jobs.

Why don't make a vanilla hack with the gba jobs too...
With less changes can be another very good hack too.

If I set simple in the options I can't change of job or (normal) again in options. I'm not sure if with normal there's a way to change jobs too.

Job system, learn skills and swap it's one of the best features in the original game.
