God damn you are good man. You are very good. Replacing useless objects to pretty up your backgrounds takes an artists approach. Your upside down pipes and piranhas and other level setting changes require knowing your shit. You are a multi talented fellow frantik.  From your various screenshots, I can see your level design looks great too. Keep the momentum rolling man, I cant wait to play this.

Are you keeping the difficulty under stupidly insane?  That's the only thing that could bring your masterpiece down. (In my book)

Wow! You really prettied up SMB very well. Every gfx change is beautiful. That stop watch video is super impressive. Not only did you implement an entirely new feature to the game, but you also made use of it very effectively, even though you were limited by your block glitch. Keep it up frantik.

Oh my God. I absolutely love the battle system. Reminds me a little of Dragon Warrior Monsters. But even better. You don't have to train your heroes, they just act exactly how you want them to.  Character movement is a little awkward though. Why do they move when they collide with a wall? Funny dialogue and a simple plot. Good times.

Hey DaMarsMan, would you mind PMing me a patch with your font? To be honest I like that more too  :)

"Raises Hand"..Can I get one too? I'm pretty sure my eyes would thank me If asked for that patch too. DaMarsMan's font looks more retina-friendly in my opinion and I really want to see what your translation has to offer KingMike.

Lot of interesting stuff in there.  Some of which I have no clue what to do with. What do you guys personally do with this app. What feature do you like the most or use the most.

That movie editor looks interesting. I'm looking at that "Movie begins from" option. I want to try to edit a movie I have to start about half way through.  How would I accomplish this?

I'm not usually one to do something like that. But I worked hard on my hack. Maybe I didn't work on it for 2 years, but It deserves its time in the limelight just like Drew's hack.  Rules are important, but they only work when posters AND moderators follow them.

Also, realize that Samus jumps significantly higher when in the crouched position. No where in the Read Me is it stated, but the technique is required numerous times.

For those people having trouble with the wall jumping, be sure to hold the jump button when doing the wall jump. In the original, you can just tap the jump button and be OK, not so in this hack. You really have to be conscience about leaving the button held, well at least I do.. ;)   I cant believe I actually got good at this wall jump..at first I was mortified he had hacked that..now I look forward to doing the technique.

I'm gonna have to say this hack is required material. People need a reminder of what a true full-on complete top to bottom (Except for Ceres Station) hack looks like. If you've never played any of the Metroid games, play the original..complete it..then this hack, you will be blown away guaranteed. Frustratingly hard sometimes, but still fun when you get into the "Metroid mood" of exploring and shooting.

Very fun to play. Ive only played to Mushroom Plateau 4, but every level so far has been of great quality. Just goes to show that GFX hacking is NOT a requirement when making a good SMW hack. SO many people have told me otherwise.

Oh wow!  ;D  This is incredible. This is quality work. I just know the upcoming editor will be something special. interdpth, I don't know anything about programming, but If you need any help with any other type of task, just ask. I'd love to help make this editor as good as it can be.

I hadn't downloaded it when I posted that, I just assumed it wouldn't like my PC since it said DOS under OS in the download utilities page. I downloaded it now and it is a Windows command line only app, which my comp likes.  ;D
Ever since I got into this scene and realized colors could be changed, Ive always wanted to change a couple of my fave games' color schemes.  Hopefully this utility will finally convince me to take the plunge. I think Ill start with Pilotwings.

Operating System?....DOS......doh!
So many useful utilities on DOS. I have nothing against DOS itself...its just that it refuses to run right consistently on my weak system.
