No offense, the new design of the snow fields may be more complex and does reflect the mointain-ish appearance better, but the mapping is way too blocky... while the appearance of the original one is just lovely. How about repainting those snow-piles to have a stonelayer underneath? and dividing the stage into a design with 2 floors and one connecting path while keeping the "original" style?

A copy of Magical Pop'n (which is not a repro or a pirate... already got tricked) is my holy grail right now. Heck, I don't even care if it's boxed. I just want a fair price determined by if it's boxed or not. It's impossible on ebay and even in Japan it shows up way too uncommonly.

Spitty would be a neat name for the main character imo.
Soak'n Spitty would also work as a wordplay in the game title
(Soaking Spitty/Soak and Spit)

A octopus and a octopus eraser might lose the wordplay but it's still pretty silly, so it would probably work out as a joke.
How the hell do I get rid of a octopus? With a octopus eraser of course!

If you keep the names close to the original, I would go with Rokkun instead of Rockkun. It's catchier and a nice wordplay.

Whoa! Good to see some progress on this one.
I am currently playing the Satellaview-installments, but wanted to give the retail version another run eventually. I played it all the way through 4 years ago, so why not doin it again? It's a great, addictive game^^ I am looking forward to the english translation, Ghideon

The titlescreen is a little bit too full of information but overall ok.
I would move the "Castlevania II" and the Version information more to the left to make it look more centered though.

It looks neat! Only complain: the woman-npc uses too bright colors compared to the usual graphic style of the game.

Beautiful! I loved the first game and since the DS-Sequels are rather boring and pushed the franchise into a wrong direction (imo), the faithfull GBC sequel really needs a translation!
Looking forward to more updates

Little feedback about the titlescreen:
The "II" would look a lot better if it was in another color. Yellow/orange for example

Using black as a background AND graphic color has always been a bad idea.
Neat work about the hair, even though 2 different colors could make it a litlle bit better.
About the faces and bodies... well. Please don't change the NPC style to this, Lugia.
