Gaming Discussion / For the First Time Playing Koudelka

I am now on the fourth disc and I have to say this game is great. The reason I am making a post is because I am interested to see what other people think of this game. Particularly because the game got some bad reviews upon it's release. Not sure why as the gameplay is a lot of fun and the atmosphere and music (particularly the music) are brilliant.

Gaming Discussion / Having Trouble Getting Sound to Work in Forgotten Kingdom

I hope this qualifies to be under programming.

I am having an issue getting the sound for a Korean RPG to work. I have a copy of a game that was translated and added to this site called Romance of the Forgotten Kingdom. I got the game patched and opened it up in DOSBox but there is no sound at all. All other games I have opened with DOSBox works just fine but this one. I am not sure what I should do to fix this and, in all honesty, I don't use DOSBox very often. Any recommendations as how I should fix this issue?

I am wondering if there is a hack out there that simply makes your characters move faster in PS3? If not, is there any interest in the creation of one? Just wondering as this was always a pet peeve when playing the game.

Gaming Discussion / Question About The Adventure of Hourai High School

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this question, but I simply couldn't think of another place to post it. So I hope I get some of the right responses.

I have been playing The Adventure of Hourai High School for a few days now. As most of you probably know Aeon Genesis did a English translation last year for the game. Fantastic thus far as I have put in a good 10 hours thus far of game play. Anyway, I have come to what seems to be a bug in either the rom or the translation (I really hope it is just the rom). I just beat the girls dorm room chapter of the game, but in the cut scene between chapters the game goes black and seems to freeze up. I went to the "readme" file that comes with the patch and it doesn't reference this as a possible bug. As well, I went to register to the Aeon Genesis website to see if I could address the issue there but it would not allow me to register as it says I am answering the questions wrong in registration (hear I thought that snow was always white...). I have taken screenshots and I have the save state at the moment of question. As well, I am using ZSNES and I made sure that the byte size for the game was accurate, so I don't know what else to do at this time.

If there is anyone that can help or lead me in the right direction to see what my issue is or how to rectify it, it would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Gaming Discussion / Anyone Currently Playing Minelvaton Saga?

I am old school and am having a lot of fun with this game, but I am having a ton of issues as to what to do next. I asssume I am a good portion of the way through considering that I have been playing the game for about 6 hours and have grinded my levels to over 70. But I am simply stuck at this point and some sort of a guide would be appreciated.
If anyone has played through the game let me know and I will describe my issue.

Gaming Discussion / Phantasy Star 2: The Numan Revolution Question

I am at the end of the game, essentially, boarding the ship Noah, but the sound totally goes out on me. I restarted the emulator numerous times and the sound is there, at the beginning but the second I click for my saved spot the volume disappears. Is this something that happens with the Numan Revolution hack? I am using the latest version of Fusion as well.

Hey all, I've played this game a few times bet never got super far in it though. I now have taken the time to actually play it all the way through. My question is about nearing the end of the game. I just got the "atomic bomb" but I am not sure where to use it. If anyone knows I'd appreciate the help. Thanks.
