In GoodNES you can find FDS conversion of Transformers Headmasters on 253 mapper - Transformers Headmasters (FDS Conversion) [b1].nes
However, it does not run on any emulator. :(
Why? Is there a fixed ROM? If not - how to fix it?..

Who can tell how to be? I changed the values at address 5957 to A0 00, Mario froze on the screen with the death animation, but the game didn't go on. Goomba killed Mario and, standing a little, went behind the screen.
How to make Mario die just like in the Ninja Gaiden? Frozen in place > the music ended > the game continue from the beginning of the level or from the savestate.

Since Super Mario Bros., a game completely crawled up and down, I want to ask about basic music editor for this game. To be able to write music, and listen/save the game within the framework that was provided in the original game.
Is there any such tool at all?

Hi all. I would like to know the address map of the game Battle City. Looking at Romhacking and Github is nothing like close to find. :(

I have long been interested in the question of programming using this IDE, using a computer keyboard. On most emulators work with keyboard is good, but not with VirtuaNES.
First, it is impossible to enter certain characters, such as ":", ";" and "*". Second - after my changing the font from Japanese to Russian, the rom works correctly only on VirtuaNES (other emulators giving this error: ),
which may affect the compatibility of future games written on it. Well, and thirdly - I don't have enough information on programming in this IDE, in particular using BGTOOL.
Modified Family BASIC ROM (patch):
UPD: when I replaced some of signs (like ":", ";" and "*") on the Russian language - rom gives the same error on VirtuaNES. I think this is an checksum protect, which I can't fix. :(

Hi to everyone. I'm looking for people who can help in the realization of my project. It is planned to make a similar port of the same game based on engine of the game "Titenic" - 2D beat-em' up by Hummer Team (fixed by CaH4e3).
Current changes:

Original font for text also included.
(character sprites coming soon)
What is needed:
* Assistance in obtaining levels
* Assistance in inserting new cutscenes
* Help in changing the music in all game
* Programmer's help or advanced romhacker
For its part, I can make sprites characters (in this hack can play as Sketch and for Alice) and clearance levels (graphics, level design).

ROM Hacking Discussion / [NES] Dragon\'s Lair: level editing

Hi everyone. I want to ask a question about the editing of the levels in Dragon's Lair. I found out that the levels in the game separated by two maps: blocks 1x1 tile and blocks units responsible for their properties.

The first map I found without any effort, but the second - no matter how much sought, so couldn't be found. This applies to both roms (Japanese and European versions), not only American version.
Please, help me to find them. ;)

I found some values are clearly associated with areas of the collapsing bridge. Only I didn't understand how to edit them, to bridge not destroyed everywhere, except the places where apears a water dragon...

I wondered if there was a similar tool for Dezaemon on NES?..

Hi there. I tried to make a "dragon only" mode in the game Dragon Fighter. I found value $ 002E and $ 0040, which triggered the conversion of the hero into a dragon ... but I do not know what to do with them. Or am I doing something wrong? Tell me, please, how to be?
