Personal Projects / Solstice Randomizer [beta-testers needed]

This is something I made as result of me figuring out how solstice works(room data for most part). Its basically Randomizer done manually(I cant code).
Anyway, I need some testers because its completely different for me to test it as I know exactly where everything is, which takes all the fun out of it, but it should be 100% beatable.

Personal Projects / Yet Another SMW Hack [Demo avaiable]

So this is my current project, Yet Another SMW Hack or YASH as I like to call it.


Its your typical SMW hack(duh) with probably nothing new you haven't seen before. There are four worlds you can go in any order(think SML2) and then theres last world, and probably some sort of special/bonus world too.


Theres heath-bar, wall-jump and ground-pound(replaces spin-jump). Also theres no powerups(you are always big).


World themes are mountain, smb3 pipeworld-like world, dark/spooky forest, ice/snow and then I haven't decided on the last one yet. My initial goal is to have four levels each world(to keep quality up, and that it doesn't end up being yet another forever project), 20levels in total(not counting special world since thats outside of my initial goal).


Current progress:
world 1(mountain): 3 and half out of 4 levels done
World 2(pipe): 2 and half out of 4 levels done
Rest of the worlds: nothing
Overworld: I'd say 70% done, but it still needs some work
+other minor stuff

Personal Projects / Mario's 100s challenge [Full release!]

This is my SMW hack, where Mario only has 100seconds(or less) to beat the level. There are few stuff added like wall-jumping and raccoon Mario. Right now I have two and half worlds done(grass, underground and ice), Im planning to have four worlds+special world, with at least 6 levels each(not counting switch places, toad houses and bonus levels).

Personal Projects / Kirbys bizarre adventure [Demo #2 out!] [On-hold]

So this is my (currently unnamed) Kirbys adventure hack, main concept is that you cant fly, meaning you have to use different abilities to get around instead of just holding up to skip most of level, but Im not planning to force player to only use one ability during entire game, maybe in few selections or entire level, but its too early to say. So far I have two worlds +2 levels out of three worlds done(each world has four levels+boss plus one hidden level, ~15 in total, this may change at some point but main goal at the moment is 15 levels or so).

Any comments, feedback, suggestions etc are welcome, but remember that this is far from finished :).

EDIT: For those who are wondering, for now this hack is on-hold due unexpected problems, and I wont be continuing until they get fixed but once its done, I will finish this hack. When will it be fixed and when this hack is done? Who knows.

Personal Projects / Gb Adventures of lolo [Finished!]

So, ~7 years ago I started to make my lolo hack, called Adventures of lolo gb remix, and now years after I finally got around to (almost) finish it:



Basically I remade levels from gb lolo to lolo3 since gb one is horribly slow, looks and sounds terrible. I had to leave out some early levels since gb lolo has total of 125 levels(+tutorials), and lolo3 has only ~101(+tutorials, minus non puzzle-rooms), but only early and some of tutorial levels that arent that important are missing.

Patch it to "Adventures of Lolo 3 (U) [!].nes" from goodnes 3.14.


I've tested all levels multiple times so Im pretty sure they all are beatable, though lolo3 editor does have tedious glitch where it just doesnt save any edits after saving, but at last all levels upto 15-1 or 16-1 are fully tested.

Any feedback, suggestion or whatever are welcome :thumbsup:.

EDIT: Tiny update; Im working on moving stuff(levels, graphics, text etc) from [b5] rom to [!] one and Im about done with levels(need to verify), but it shouldn't take too long and I think Im about done with this hack too  8).

EDIT #2:
New demo out, I moved from [b5] rom to [!] one, some minor changes but its about finished, it still needs some final touches but its 99% done :)
