It's ok to be buggy, i just wanted to make sure i was doing it right.

Another thing i noticed about the name screen, you can't delete the first letter of the name.
You can delete all but the first but if you insert any second letter (it must be a half width/invisible ones) and then hit X it will delete both clearing the entire name.

Some early menus show up in Jp but most will guess what they are. If these are graphics (i can't tell) ignore this part since you said those aren't done:

Thanks for the translation.

Hello, I got q question regarding the Air management 96 patch.
I couldn't produce your exact target hash, so i tried anyway on what i have. And it works but looks kinda buggy specially on company name screen:

Is it supposed to look like this? If not maybe i need this exact iso?

Air Management '96 (Japan).bin
File/ROM SHA-1: 5D7B49D0C3FBF5C888C415B7482BCFA07107C77B
File/ROM CRC32: B0723FF1

How do you produce it?

What's exactly the difference between these, i'm confused by the OP:

Final Weapon Script (Hondoori Subs)].7z
Final Weapon Script].7z (

Newcomer's Board / The "Non Compliant Rules" need to be updated
« on: May 16, 2021, 03:47:00 pm »
Hello, i spend a lot of time on the database.
The other day i notice something curious.
A person registered, never posted anything and submitted a patch and never logged back again.
I checked the hash of this hack because it didn't do what it said.
And i realized it matched the hash of another existing hack (which he claimed his was based on).
When in reality it wasn't just based on, it was the same file, an exact copy.

So i flagged it as non-compliant.

And to my surprise i was rejected. "This is not a valid reason to remove something". I'm told.
Well, if this is not a valid reason then there are no valid reasons i'm afraid.

I'm pretty sure, if people or bots wanted could fill the database with similar entries. What is our protection to this?

"You can remove the file and write a note in the description saying the patch is missing"

It seemed very little so i did that the bare minimum allowed by the mod.

Which leads to my second surprise: They allowed the note, but reinstated the file.

Well then, that's not optimal you see. People keeps downloading a "fake" patch believing it is something it's not. The author is MIA. And the rules won't let me do anything about it.

I know my opinion is worth absolutely 0 or less. But heck this is such a turn off, it makes you want to not report anything at all.

Could someone from higher up maybe think about this? here's the link

Amazing work FCandChill.
I doubt someone tackles this after the remake.
Better let it rest in peace.

Sadly, when doing some quick inputs in the very first room of the game, it all garbles up.

I didn't find any issue on KEGA Fusion and boy i spammed every button as fast a could for a good while.
um...i completely forgot about this till i accidentally clicked a bookmark i had for this thread just now.

well...the, now 5+ years old, patch IS an improvement (kinda) but...not exactly what i was hoping for. i still feel this game could benefit from some 8-directional movement instead of just diagonal.

the addition of a shadow when jumping would also help but it's difficult to make accurate platforming jumps in a top-down or isometric game when movement is restricted to only 4 directions.
This is a HUGE improvement.
8 directions would require to create a new sprite-sheet from scratch with 4 extra directions with every single animation necessary for them .
Like, be realistic. I can guarantee you that's not happening in this century.

Simple shadow is doable tough.

And here's also an optional patch that changes the Death portrait to be similar to that of Symphony of the Night (Should be applied over an already patched Portrait of Elegance ROM):
Hi, Something's up with that sotn death patch. It doesn't take the rom with the v1 patch applied (CRC b94f1dd0).
I don't know what crc it expects.

It's been a long time, but here's a patch that I built from some commits I made a few years ago but never updated the patch with. It should contain some of the fixes for the freezing bugs but please post any other issues you encounter here!

Patch link:
There's no "New game/Continue" Button on the main menu whit this patch.
v1.0 had this. I'm on VBA-M latest version. So, it's stuck there.

DLPB said that R06 is almost ready
I'm confused. R06 was almost ready in 2016, 3 years ago. Is it really coming out?
Also is R04c the latest version for psx? "Final Fantasy 7 (1 April 2016).zip"

I already sort of replied to this elsewhere but here goes...
All you have to do is apply the patch with the checksum verification disabled
Code: [Select]
xdelta3 -d -n -s game.iso patch.xdelta game_patched.iso
Sweet thanks i didn't think of that.

Hello, There are undubs for this game made by emuler posted at assembler games.
But there's a problem and i wonder if anyone can help here?

1) The NTSC patch doesn't take the known good dump it uses an unknown ISO. IDK if there's a way around this?
2) The PAL patch Works with redump PAL dump. BUT. It's not just UNDUB it's also the Spanish Patch: (2 in 1 spanish+undub). IS there a way to turn this patch into JUST undub? Remove the Spanish patch from it?

I hope i made sense.

Dream World Doki Doki Panic! -

ROM / ISO Information:

Yume Koujou Doki Doki Panic (1987)(Nintendo).fds
    CRC32: 84018D5E (With Header)

(Headerless version of this rom is 84018D5E.
Headerless version crc is wrong i think.

I don't know what that is but i need to rebuild the iso to make an eboot out of it.

I tried it took a 600 MB bin and produced a 81 MB bin.
I guess it doesn't work with multi-track games?

I did it with CDmage, created a new 0KB "txt" file and re-named the same as the video (.STR) and inserted it, when asked about the different in sizes i chose to pad with zeroes. But the game crash when it's supposed to play. Not padding with zeroes makes no difference.

I think modifying the video file is no good.

I would need a way to tell the game not to play it.  :-\

That sounds like it won't be easy to do without any knowledge so might as well give up now.

Thanks for helping me.

Hello, i'm looking to remove a short intro video (STR) from a PSX game and i want to rebuild it as bin/cue afterwards.
The goal of this is that i want to play this game on a PSP but the PSP gets stuck when this logo is supposed to play.
So if i could delete it form the game maybe the PSP could skip it run the game.

So basically i need something like UMDGen but for PSX.
I'm not sure if the game will work after removing this intro (who knows?) but i must try  ::)

We tried to create a patch but it was over 400mb so, in the final release we'll try to figure out the best way possible to release the translation.

My fault, Sorry about that mods.
Thanks so much i didn't know this game, looks creepy as hell!
Excellent job!  :woot!:

What's the necessary dump, TOSEC or Redump?
Neither cos that is actually a full game (cdi) not a patch.  ::)
