Personal Projects / Re: Arle's Adventure English Patch Release

Awesome! I really hope you'll find a translator to finish it.

As for the patch, so far I noticed a bug the name entry, the capital R is replaced by an E.

Edit: a letter is missing in the dialogue "ou can get more by...defeating enemies."
Edit2: direcut should be renamed as diacute. (origin: it's a spell from Madou Monogatari that doubles the "acuteness" of the next spell)

Personal Projects / Puyo Puyo!! 20th Anniversary Translation
« on: October 18, 2011, 10:42:08 am »
Well, who didn't this coming. Since we did Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary, Puyo Puyo Sun and Puyo Puyo 7, let's throw the latest Puyo Puyo game in the bunch!

Puyo Puyo
If you still never heard of Puyo Puyo, here's an introduction to the series. The latest game, Puyo Puyo!! 20th Anniversary is big step forward since the last game (Puyo Puyo 7 was really mediocre). It has updated visuals, a lot of new gameplay modes and a lot bigger story mode (once storyline for each character). In my opinion the best Puyo Puyo game that Sega put forward so far.

The progress
Since the structure and file formats in the game is the same as its predecessors for the most parts, we got our tools together pretty quickly. Unfortunately, with the absence of our regular translator, the progress has really slowed down to a crawl. :( So I put up a help wanted ad.
Anyway here are some WIP screens:

Wouldn't it be better if you have a place where people can dump bugs instead of sending emails? So people can see what's already reported.

Aw yeah! Awesome!
Can't try it just yet, since I have an exam tomorrow. >_< Anyway, I'm excited! I'd love to play more Madou Monogatari in English!

Go go Cless's TOP translation :woot!:

Err... I fucked up >_<
Patch won't work, so I'm reuploading the patch and calling it v1.02. If you downloaded before, you'll have to redownload it. Sorry for that.

Pixel artz!

I'm drawing myself the animation for sword/dagger attacks, but there's something wrong but I can't really tell what it is. Anybody up for some quick fixes? Also, anybody interested in making 3-4 frames for Maria in punching pose? I'd need that for knuckles. X_x
Looks nice. In regards to the hair-> it will probably look better if you make the hair go up fast and make it flow down slowly.

A quality product, I'm sure.
I didn't even notice it. Now you made me click the link :( damnit

Good luck with Naruto, though I would have rather seen you finish Kururin Paradise.

Congrats. It looks great.
