Come to think of it, I should just create a hack for the GBA game that bypasses the check for a completed save file and make those available from the start...

Works with vba-m, use "file/import/battery file" to load markarto.sav then press L/R in the "choose a cup" menu.

bogaabogaa: Have you considered just a Crusade hud/font/knight player sprite replacement patch for the base game? I wanna beat dracula as a crusader!

Perhaps include the Super Castlevania IV - don't move fix in your big romhack?

Sorry it was my mistake, Gaia's Navel screwed the checksum, the checksum is OK when using just ZPS_Patcher.

I just used this version and still got a bad checksum on the resulting 4MB rom.

Just fyi, one more time, for posterity!  :)

If your image is in the iso/cue format, you need to convert it into separate tracks:

You can do this using a program called TurboRip
the PC Engine/TG-16 CD-ROM ISO/WAV/CUE Ripper:

And to extract the rom from the data track (track 2),
you need subfile.exe from the ECM Command-Line Pack:

To now extract "Formation Soccer Human Cup '92" from "Human Sports Festival", do this:

subfile.exe track2.iso 0x221000 262144 soccer.pce
then apply:

And to extract "Final Match Tennis Ladies" do:
subfile.exe track2.iso 0x1e1000 262144 tennis.pce

And apply, in this order the following patches (or it will glitch):

1. Final Match Tennis Ladies.pce.ips
2. Final Match Tennis Ladies (J)-tm_v1.0.ips (enables training mode)
3. Final Match Tennis Ladies (J)-translation_v1.0.ips (English translation)

.smc stands for Super Magicom, which was one of the earliest SNES copiers. The irony is that 90% of dumps come from SWC DX2s and GDSF7s.

.sfc stands for Super Famicom, which makes a whole heck of a lot more sense.

Unfortunately, the former caught on in the early days because the first dumps were distributed that way through piracy BBSes and such. It continues to exist because the most popular (and lowest quality) SNES organization tool still uses SMC.

I would ask that you guys use SFC, simply run "ren *.smc *.sfc" in your ROM folder, but I can't make people change.

Sorry, no go Byuu, as an emulation purist, i ONLY play sfcs dumped by the Super Magicom! :)

Tho I like the prototype "STARFOX 2" title graphic (left) much better:

How easy would it be to do a tile swap patch? Maybe change it to (c) 2017 Nintendo as well, so it's clear which version you have.
