Quick update, fixed the wrong tag on the Bravesword, only one or two small minor things remain for bugs, currently have optional Crono working up until the end of Magus’ castle, time to start working on singing mountain.

Thanks Chronosplit, I'll give it a shot tomorrow, on the plus side Pelapas has confirmed pretty much all known bugs are fixed in the beta.

The Black Omen is currently only fightable once, this is not intentional and I will try to fix it.

Youre right, it has its own unique description but for some reason carries the "2x damage v mag" is there any easy way to fix this?

Still dont have a controller but I have taken a jab at a few of the reported bugs, I decided to release a 1.2 beta for anyone that wants to see the new features or (hopefully) just not have the bugs.

Also for anyone wanting to report bugs these ones are known and hopefully fixed (untested)

Battle with Magus on the cape being skipped

The item chest in the Blackbird being able to be opened more than once

Being able to learn Poyozo Dance repeatedly

Inn in Choras freezing the game

Magus not appearing on the left port on the Blackbird

In Ryu's starting stats he has a single byte set to 40 that locks him into the party, changing this byte to 0 (as all other characters have) will prevent the game from loading up.

However if you open a save file in a hex editor and change that byte in his current stats he can be removed, there are a few places this can cause glitches but the biggest offender is the house in township.

Unrelated but interesting, if you change Tiga's HP value to anything else he will become 'mortal' and winning the battle has no ill effects

On a side note, is it possible yet to script in your own bosses and if so, does an editor exist out there that compliments this question with a visual scripting editor? SNES or GBA that is.

Just curious, does this tool offer the ability to add new dialog boxes? So that all the added story from the psp version could be added to the snes.

Let me know at what point you get Doof and Puka, I want them spread out a little better so that Puka isnt raping the enemies from the 3/4 mark onwards.

This is Breath of fire 1, you could always swap Ryu out as soon as you had 5 or more characters.

Also of note is that this is compatible with the sound restoration patch.

Get weapon screen looks incredible !!

So what is the ultimate goal for Bit and Byte? I understand you want it to be random as to which one you get, but I assume (hope) there is also the possibility of getting neither, and a minimum number of bosses beaten before they can appear would be nice (They're quite strong without their weakness.) appearing in a world that I've already beaten doesn't bother me at all however.

All I'm doing with Schala is giving her a non cannon ending by destroying Lavos in the Ocean Palace, the Chrono Trigger fanbase is pretty devided on Chrono Cross and anything that connects it will piss off some and anything that denies it will piss off others.

Also if anyone is looking to help and has a save game of this hack between the end of time and the Ocean Palace let me know.

The ultimate weapons dont carry over so that you have a reason to beat the side quests on ng+

The ultimate armor does carry over though so that alternate endings are possible.

Speaking of alternate endings im going to start working on the new ocean palce ending as soon as my new controller arrives.
