ROM Hacking Discussion / Re: RE: gba cheat file converter

I you don't want to go to the hassle of setting up RetroArch you could look up the game on instead. Select the codes you want, then just hit Download Codes near the top of the page (it's small and blends in a bit so it could be easy to miss at first).

Make sure you choose libretro for the format. That'll give you a .cht file.

I wanted to give this hack a try:

But Flips is giving this message:

Flips v1.12
The patch was applied, but did nothing. You most likely already had the output file of this patch.

The hashes of the source rom match with Rom Hasher. The hashes are still the same with the output rom too, so Flips isn't mistaken in that message. I've tried redownloading the patch too with the same result.

Can anyone else get this to work? Otherwise it seems something might be wrong with the file on the site.

He's the author of Editroid and the Metroid Plus hack.

I'd be very interested in seeing a LUA capable NES port on the Wii myself. I have an old CRT tv with a much bigger screen than my LCD monitor, and I simply find myself enjoying NES/SNES era console games on there via the Wii more than when I play them on pc.
