I've also added slight pauses at commas and periods, to make the dialogue flow as it had been spoken out loud. (Maybe most people won't care about this, but as an auditory thinker, I really like this effect.)I care! A lot, actually. I really dislike it when dialogues in games are just presented without any form of stylization or flow, it makes them much less attactive for me. I love the Trails in the Sky games that utilize pauses, sound effects, different text sizes and other effects. It makes the already excellent dialogues even livelier. Whenever I play a modern game with the most basic dialogue system possible, I invariably feel disappointed.
"It's da bomb!"If find that quite charming in a very cheesy way. It also quite well reflects the Japanese すんげ、おもしろい！ as far as I'm concerned.
Oh dear god...
Please don't let that be a reflection of the quality of the translation...
I know I wigged out earlier in this thread, but I just want to say that looking at it now it's not a bad deal. I encourage everyone to nab this while it's on sale at least to let Square know "hey, we actually like this thing in America." Even if it doesn't get a Vita release across the ocean (and it's possible, just look at DQVII).
Whenever I press Start on the main menu it gets stuck on this screen file:///C:/Users/Michael/Pictures/Screenshots/Screenshot%20(12).png
I've tried both the xdelta and ips, both having slightly different versions of this problem, anyone know what to do?
