Just a question:

Would it be possible to assign Dark Hold to DOWN + TRIANGLE and Twin Dream to UP + TRIANGLE?

I think it would be nice to have every ZERO's move accesible from the gamepad

why don't you recreate Megaman X2 Zero Project? I really want this hack. :thumbsup:

I think ProgrammerPeru finished the X1 and X2 "Zero Projects" but they are mostly a sprite change using ZERO sprites.

I'd love to play an X2 Zero Project where you can fully play as ZERO after his 3 parts are recovered from the X-Hunters.

The original value is 18, the value set for X6 Tweaks is 78 (which sets "Navigator" and "Nightmare Effects" to ON by default).
If you only want to turn Nightmare Effects OFF by default, change it to 38

By the way I tested with 38 and only Nightmare is OFF by default (as expected) Thank you!

Hi,

I am really enjoying X6! I remember when it was released I was SO DISSAPOINTED! than completed it once and never played again.

It felt it rushed, the Nightmare System was ....well... a Nightmare, and the control to perform ZERO's special techniques ruined my game experience (...yes I am talking about Sentsuizan)

Now, thanks to acediez's tweaks the game plays and feels like I think is the way it was intended to be!

P.S. Just a question: Is there a way to set the NIGHTMARE EFFECTS to OFF by default?

I have always wanted to remove the anchor in order for Rakukojin (X6) to be more similar to their counterpart Hyouretsuzan (X4) and Danchien (X5)

Thank you very much! I really love to play X5 and X6 now! I also really enjoy X4 traslation since I used to only play the Japanese version for years, since I don't like the US localization (I remember back in the days I had to print the script and had the pages in front on me when playing the game, good old days... ;) )

Just used up all its weapon energy bar. Zero will still use the diving metal blade but no anchor.
If you don't mind with using Gameshark,

I added the cheats to retroarch but sadl only Ammo=0 works for me, the "if ZERO" doesn't seems to work, so I ended up with no anchor for ZERO but also no Ice Burst for X :(

I tested (an completed)  X4 v1.13 X5 v2.0.2 and X6 v2.6.1 on Modded PlayStation Classic and they work perfect for me! no issues found

Hi all,

Anyone knows if there is a way of removing the anchors produced by ZERO's Rakukojin technique?

I just never liked that part of the attack and I always wanted to remove them (only showing the diving metal blade with no anchor rising from the floor)

Nice feature the no sliding walls in zero stage!!

I have lost many lives due getting unintentionally grabbed to the walls in that stage :(

Just an idea:
I was thinking that would be cool to include the TRAINING STAGE as part of the main game, maybe as a Sub Mission (something like "The Sigma Virus has corrupted an old maverick data in the Deep Log") triggered by an event (i.e. after defeating the 4 first Maverick, something like the Dynamo battle)

Once again, thank you for this improvement, I never liked X5 and X6 that much, because I always felt them rushed compared to X4. Now they feel like proper PS1 AAA games :D

I wish X7 was fixable like X5 or X6, but it would be easier to make it from scratch  :'(

I don't know if this is an issue on 1.8 or it came from previus versions but I just fount it

In the Options menu (in game or in the menu) go to Control and where it should say

GIGA ATTACK

but it says

GIGA ATTCK

I hope it helps

Good Point!! You are completely right!! Dash is the only way to move V-Blocks, so only Dark Hold will work for Zero

I can only think using the "flower" like enemies to drop Weapon Enegy more often in that zone in order to complete that zone with Zero, or at least to allow Zero to return to the main route moving the entrance V-Block

The other partial solution would be to make another Zero's Special Technique (C-Flasher?) to be able to break the V-Blocks, or mark the V-Blocks in the entrance as "destroyed" after ZERO moves them, so he can return to the main route (currently they appear back blocking the entrace)

Anyway, I love the 2.0 enhancements, specially to be able to cancel Dark Hold, great work!
