Thanks for the update, every time I see screenshots of the progress it makes my day! :)

You can contact the team via the forums or email to join the beta testers  ;)

It's from the same publisher like Pier Solar, but from a different programmer (should be easy to figure out who's behind this ;) )
I simply gonna leave this link here for you:

Terracraft got a lot of new functions in the last months, fans of Terranigma should definitively check it out :)

Very impressive! Is a real-hardware rework planned or will this game stay emulated-only?

Love those beta screens!  :cookie: Anyway, you should move the death-options a little to the left there. ;)

Love that FF6 improvement hack! I don't even want to imagine the amount of work which probably flowed into it.
Some of the known issues seem like they should be fixed though (stamina instead of mp use, broken map and broken animations for example). But who am I to judge^^

ikari made SRAM of 512kbit and 1mbit possible in one of his last patches... I see no reason why it shouldn't work with expanded SRAM-data on a sd2snes now.
If it shouldn't work, just send the ROM to him. He even did a special fix to his flashcard so the Megaman X 3 playable zero patch works flawless on real hardware.

Bosses in Action-RPGs are hardcoded most of the time and can't be changed much with editors (if you put status changes aside). You have to poke at the code yourself to alter AI most of the time and if you even want to extend the battle you need to add new routines to the code yourself.

I bought all the SFC and GBA entries of the series because I love Intelligent Design especially for their 2D games.

However, I would never play Fire Emblem because the games are made to be a pain in the neck. And the japanese fans love it for being this way. Masochists.

At least the games reward the player with beautiful presentation (if you leave the first SFC one out), deep mechanics, a lot of contend and a great storyline.

But still, you'll have a lot more fun with Super Famicom Wars and Advance Wars, trust me.

I've been waiting for this! Got stuck in the adventure game in the japanese original... Now I can finally play it to the end!
Big "Thank you!" to everyone involved in the project!

You could use the fishing rod for Puzzles in dungeons (magical fishes turn into keys, you have to feed an monster to open the door for you or put one fish into each water hole of the room to make a chest appear) , for an extra income (being the only way to earn rupees would make the game frustrating though), and for an extra quest (NPC wants special kind of fishes from you which you obviously can't find everywhere and gives you good rewards like heart pieces, a special melodie required to enter a special dungeon or a bottle).
Maybe you can even add the possibility to turn switches underwater with the rod or something (just let some sign say "I connected my pet to this long thing down there, please don't chain it off. It likes to bite! - Zora Merchant" :D) simply connecting a catched fish with a cutscene of a switched lever. Lotsa possibilities, just felt like giving some input since you asked^^

Any opinion from Disch yet? Would be interesting to know if he could implement this engine into his editor :)

Everdrive GB was released though. I'll most likely play the translation on it.

Some people like to have the original in their shelf while playing a translation

I was just thinking about this. Is the Battle Garegga demo on the Soukyugurentai rerelease on Saturn possibly the full game forced to stop after the first level? If yes, would it be possible to "unlock" the full game with some hacking or maybe even only a cheat-cartridge code?
Prices of Battle Garegga currently go around 130-150 Euro, so this would literally be worth looking into...

Looks nice, but I would suggest to spread a little more different enemies in the levels to give the player a little more chances for experiments and different approaches to the level design. A few more hidden things would be neat too. I recognised that the game gives you like three extra lives on your main way and a very hard hidden and very hard finished extra segment sometimes only hides one life that you easily can lose on the way to it... this should be better balanced out imo.
I also wonder: will there be a way to spice up the existing boss fights or are they 100% hardcoded?
Keep up the great work, and don't let my criticism get you down. I wrote it to give constructive feedback :)

Pretty much Final Fantasy meets Science Fiction. There is not much in common with Earthbound, only the intro got a present setting and the game is mostly serious (with some small slices of humour though) and not wacky.

Didn't know until now that this game got a Playstation port though, I'll head straight to youtube/nico nico to check some footage :)

Edit: Uhh, the graphic update looks gorgeous! The SFC original is also pretty beautiful though, I guess the preference depends on if you like 16bit pixelart or 32 rendered graphics. The SFC soundtrack sounds slightly better in some occasions though.

Mystic Ark's samples don't sound similar at all and the programmer was probably someone else than the one from ITL... I don't think the engines could be the same.  :-X
