Update By: Tom

Here is an announcement for the official English setup for Gendai Daisenryaku 2002. All the menus, dialogues, weapons, and windows are 100% in English! In this series you play in areas of conflict in the Japan region, Middle East, South Africa, and in North Korea. Some of these scenarios you get a chance to play at least once on each side so it is an interesting twist on how you play as one particular side in most war simulation games. This has been tested on Windows 7 and on Windows 10 and should work without any problems on those operating system. Enjoy!

I've always been curious about these, maybe it's time to check them out.

Also happy to be seeing this get some attention. With the absence of advance wars its traditional competitor of a sort is really worth looking at, though I tended not to know much about the PC efforts here.

Thank You!
BTW Advance Wars was based on Famicon Wars(NES 1988) that was based on this series.
大戦略 "daisenryaku" was created in 1985 for Nec PC9801.
There is more than 25 games in the series on all platforms ,consoles included.

Didn't expect to see this. I've only played Iron Storm from this series, but loved it. Maybe we'll see some love for the sister series, Master of Monsters, next. :) Though, to be honest, it's my impression over the years that later iterations of MoM aren't as strong as the early games...
