Title: Hammerin' Harry
Post by: KingMike on March 20, 2012, 05:19:53 pm
So I was looking at the SNES script again, I'm guessing this is the sort of game that deserves localization.
Sort of "blue collar" Harry's text.
Such as
Quote
てやんでい!
今度という今度は
ゆるさねえぞ!
改心させてやる!![END]
Literal translation:
No way! I won't forgive him this time! I'll make him change his ways!![END]

Perhaps something like "I'm not lettin' this go! He'll change when I get through with him!"?

How about "I'll make a saint out of him or else!"?

I don't know whatてやんでい! means, but...

"This time, this time is unforgivable! I'll force him to be a respectable person yet!"

Or something like that.

Teiyande is like a "Go for it" thing. Remember Pizza Cats?

Found on google :

ってやんでぇ
何を言っている! → なに、言ってやがる! → なに、いってやんでい → ってやんでぇ
