Hello guys!
Sorry for my English i'm from Poland.
I got a several questions to romhackers so:
I got a demo of psx games and i want to modify it so that
[I'm translating Metal Slug X, Action Replay and Import Player]
And i want that demo boot my programs, but it didn't  can someone help ??

I think that your english is maybe really too confusing for native english people but i try to help u anyway :p
U want to translate Metal Slug X for the PS1...right??
I think u are looking for a way to "test" your partial translation on real hardware ... right??
If yes, there are 3 ways:

1 way is to burn a cd everytime u want to try it

2 there was a way to use your action replay with (link-comm card) to connect to pc and was possible to send the executable and modify the ram in real time.
I was using ( cartla (software) on it but now all my xploders are dead :(

3 u do all the work on the pc with emulator and then u burn only the last one on cd.

If I am on the wrong way, try to explain better what is your problem.

By the way, this is my unfinished version :p

Sorry You didn't understood me...
I was translated Metal Slug, Ar an IP, but i want beautiful menu like in demo but it is chcecking LBA or some kind of checksum i don't know, but maybye exist a "simple' program for PSX than boot PS-X exes.
I do a little test here's explain:
I modified ISO of the demo (i've replaced V-RALLY 2 demo (exe) to ActionReplay) the emulator didn't start:executed illegal opcode0xsomething.
But i run original demo on pSX v1.13 saved on position V-RALLY 2, restarted the emu loaded modified iso and loaded than save and fast push X button (why fast? because after 1-2 secs. emu hang up) and is booted my program so theres my question is there booting better on real psx ?? or  psx run me same exception ??

PSXMenu v1.5 by loser probably does what you're asking for (sorry, barrier language makes it virtually impossible to get exactly the message you're trying to communicate). Now, the problem is finding it somewhere on the net as it's quite an ancient program. The alternative is coding your own loader, which is actually kinda easy to do if you're a bit familiar with the PlayStation hardware.

When You saying PsxMenu v.15 did You mean DemoMenu by looser ??
if yes there's any way to hack it e.g. some background image or music ??

So THX for reply only what i can code that's hello world program.
I was wondering if exist a PSX C/C++ COMPILER, PsxDevStudio 2006 didn't compile it.

Or grab a copy of the official SDK and compile with it instead. Don't ask where to get it, any links to that are basically illegal.

Hey! People i got some nice PSX program than boot's PS-X execs can You check this out and tell sugestions or there exist something better like than
I hacked this witch HEX editor check three last positions e.g Dino, Manta and Action Replay.
I didn't have much time so Action Replay is bad version can You tell me whats going on wit ImbNes it's the Dino or Manta position, or somebody can fix that?
