Halloween Weekend Resident Evil Marathon

FYI: I'll be streaming live a Resident Evil marathon starting in the morning on Sunday November 1st and going as long as I can towards finishing the series. I'll be playing 0, 1, 2, 3, Code Veronica, 4, and 5 if I am not sick of it by then. I'll be taking normal-to-short eating and sleeping breaks in between. I'm making the event a benefit for some folks who lost their homes when an apartment building burned down in my home town. Please consider making a donation to help these folks out, but even if you don't I'd love it if you stopped by to say hi and watch me shoot a few zombies. Just following up guys, I played all of Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and played until about 5pm today (Wednesday). We finished Resident Evil 0, 1, 2, 3, and 5. I ended up choosing to skip CV and 4 because there just wasn't enough time. I couldn't take all week off and play. We raised $335 for some local folks who lost their homes when an apartment building burned down in my home town.

The games took longer to finish than I was expecting but it was really fun to play them back to back and to have gotten so far through the series in consecutive playthroughs. Seemed like everyone had a really good time and I'll probably be doing some more streaming gaming in the future. If you go to residentaid.org there are two saved videos, one is only a sound test for Resident Evil 5, the other is an hours worth of the actual marathon during the morning when we started in again on Resident Evil 1 and fought the big plant boss. Unfortunately that's all there is that's been preserved of the 4 days. I kept forgetting to hit "record" to try catching stuff like the ends of the games.
