For me it's the other way around too, I start a SRW and afterwards there are series I want to see then (and others I'm sure I don't to see). Or rather in the middle. The games spoiler too damn much. I put @G on hiatus halfway since I wanted to watch Gundam X and Gundam Wing completely before I finish the game. I did so, then my gamesave died with a broken HDD 

To be honest, I think I hadn't finished Turn A Gundam when I was playing @G and hadn't watched either Gundam Wing or Gundam X. the game didn't spoil either show and it certainly didn't spoil the ending to Turn A Gundam.

You get character spoilers in any case, but many of the events that occur in @G take a different form from the events in each of their respective shows.

That said, if I were ever doing a translation, I would make damned sure I was getting my Romanizations as accurate as possible, especially with stuff like SEED, where the Romanizations are some of the stupidest things I've ever seen.

To be fair, it's effectively a total crapshoot, especially when dealing with Banpresto itself: they just love putting silent Ws in everything and I think the Randgrith/Rathgrith units have like three entirely different official spellings each.

And then there's poor Valefor...

Is there a big difference between Touya's and Calvina's stories ? Or do they eventually join together?

The other person doesn't even exist in the game after you picked your character. It's both the same story, only the main character's point of view is different. What everyone else does is pretty much consistent IIRC.

Does anyone know if anybody is going to do an MX translation? Or hopefully an MX Portable translation? I was very consumed by the epicness in that game.

Here's a neat bit of info for those who own MX: You can switch around pilots and some combination attacks will still work. I especially like putting Boss and Maria into the Mazingers and having them doing a combination attack.

OSHI, you're kidding!! I must totally try that now! XD I knew about Z Gundam's hidden attack because I instinctively put Kamille on the Z Gundam (only natural, y'know) and left Ru to pilot nothing.

The only sad thing about it is that it doesn't work with the Final Dynamic Special, but I believe all other Mazinger-related combination attacks still work.

I've really been wanting to try out MX. Thats the only ps2 era SRW with G Gundam right?

Impact, the game MX was probably meant as a sequel to, also used G Gundam, hence why they refer to how people from Nadesico and such were witness to Domon's big confession to Rain at the end of the G Gundam plotline.

They need Rahxephon in another game.......plus Ideon and Gunbuster to make it truly epic.

And don't forget Zeorymer if you have overkill in mind.

Meh, once was enough for Rah-Xephon - what the series desperately needs is Might Gaine and Dancouga Nova.

I just finished watching Gundam 00 and thought to myself, now that might be a good addition to SRW as well. Im sure they are working on it at some point anyways, though.
