Nice. Could use a touch less bold-ness on the lettering though. The "shield"-part of the Shield Defense skill seems typeset in a proper enough fashion. Perhaps just use those measurements for all the words?

Not due to the measurements of the font itself. More due to the fact that all the letters are bunched up close together. Give about 2 pixels leeway between each and it becomes much more readable. That's also why the fatness of the font in the other shots is disturbing: paired with the non-existant letter spacing it makes everything look 'bloated'.

Seriously: thin the lettering down and use the gained width for letter spacing and you'll see it'll become much better.

They’re decorative elements. They’re not supposed to be very readable.

They are pretty much readible, and it's not for us to decide those things. If you want new font, hack the game for yourself.

While I do agree that the font may be a bit bold, it's still very much readable and if the team is happy with it I'm not going to complain. I'm just happy for the work you do on this, although I'm afraid this will have an unfortunate effect on my schoolwork - almost so I hope it isn't released until after my exams 

Is it by any chance that Judgement text is compressed, because I have difficulty finding it in hex using search relativ

I'm doing all my testing on a GB Micro, as a matter of fact. That... probably means I'm incapable of judging readability on my own, actually. Hmm.

Thanks to everybody who responded with ideas in IRC and the screenshots thread, by the way! I think I should be able to address most of the issues raised without extensively redrawing everything by hand. Here's hoping.

If you use the micro for testing, does that mean that you dont have to have a computer to play this games? That wold be really awesome
