Not to bring gasoline to a fire, but I don't think he'll run into this trouble. If Crimson Echoes had any issues at all (which I personally doubt), it was because they were planning on releasing it shortly after the DS version of CT came out.

Since this will likely not be done for over a year? I doubt they'll care, as it won't be taking away from their sales.

I agree with DS, and another problem with the other hack was that it was publicized greatly, if this is just on RHDN and doesnt' get any mainstream press then it's not going to have any problems IMO, none of the other chrono trigger hacks in the past have that haven't tried to advertise themselves outside of RHDN.

yeah, i pretty much recommend claiming you canceled the hack, then blitz surprise release it.

heh, after saying that no one would ever believe that it was truly canceled.

My mind is blown.  Most of the time I consider game hacks silly, but just like with Massimo, I must say that I am genuinely impressed.  Release it when the time comes, but make sure to stay away from Square's watchdogs.

It's always great when these rare hacks come around and actually do something unique with them, rather than giving Mario a penis.

It shouldn't be too hard to insert those portraits into the game. It would be easy to make an unofficial addendum patch. It probably wouldn't be a good idea for him to put it in his patch officially, cause of copyrights and all that jazz.

that's neat but I prefer the Radical Dreamers portrayal of the characters more than the Chrono Cross and this is supposed to be a Radical Dreamers game right? Serge looks COMPLETELY different in either so I think it is important.

This looks and sounds incredible - I hope you get to finish it I always liked Radical Dreamers even though I never had the patience to play all the way through the game.
