No, RC is currently focussing on the PSX SRWs. When he gets to the GBA ones he plans to do them in order (A, R, D, J). I highly doubt we'll interfere with each other

I'm working the translating end of the SRW stuff with RC. I believe I can safely say that neither of us particularly cares whether or not anyone else starts in on one of the games we're planning on doing. Starting drama over someone else starting up their own project on a particular game is stupid.

Will we still do J when we get that far, even if Kaioh and KC get theirs done? Probably.

Do we wish them the best of luck with their own project? Definitely.

That does sound like a good idea, but not all the hacking is done yet. Although it would be interesting to see if the ASM hacks could be incorporated easily into the three other games.

Not to mention I have far too much going on right now to add yet ANOTHER translation to my plate. If RC drops off the face of the earth and I'm at the point where I'm ready for J, then we'll talk.

I never said drop RC. Having extra hackers can either be a blessing or a curse. Given that RC and Kaio are two of the better hackers around here, I'm sure they'd do quite well together. But yeah, ordering can be a problem. Oh well, it was an idea.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

I doubt RC needs any hacking help, he has been around more than long enough. GBA is the easiest system to work with around, that he worked on other systems before isn't a point here.

We don't need any hacking help either. I doubt you'll find many hackers who know the GBA better than KC and myself. You may not know KC, but he is very very competent. He works much faster than me in any case. All the progress on this project so far has been his. Hacking wise there is no need for any joint ventures.

We know that Suzaku has more than enough active projects already. They are working on the PSX SRWs first... do you guys know that SRW games have scripts from 2 to 7 (if not more) MB? Even he would want to work with us later on, I doubt he'd get to it this decade. (And that's also why I've my doubts that RC and him will ever get to the situation where they come to a new project for this game, judging by their current schedule. I'm only being realistic here, a SRW game is insane enough, their wishlist has how many? 8? 9? And J is on the last place afaik. See you in 2020)

We are already trying to establish contact with a potential translator. Don't worry about us or the project, we know what we're doing.

We have...9 SRW games...I believe going. The PSX main canon, and then the four GBA games. We definitely won't be getting to J anytime soon. How long the PSX games take, at least from a translation standpoint, will depend on how long the scripts are and how many lines Masaki has

SRW2 doesn't look to be TOO bad, but from 3 onwards things get a little dicey. Especially with branching paths requiring multiple playthroughs just to see the whole script in-game.

Now you got me curious. Is there something special about his lines or is he like your favourite character? I didn't notice anything special with his dialogue in OG at least

Now you got me curious. Is there something special about his lines or is he like your favourite character? I didn't notice anything special with his dialogue in OG at least 

Ryusui can tell it far more colorfully than I can, but suffice to say, he speaks funny in Japanese.
