2 Pete081085thank you for your testing, it is actually very helpfull, if you could please save everything you notice in some txt file that when we'll start fixing menus you could upload it, so we woudn't have to look through the forums to look for them, again thank you for your work

I think they are stored inside the TIM2 picture format. Look what I found :  This screen is from the Tim2 file as you see it contains some name from one of the bases. So its very easy to change them and put it back to game. Since I have no idea (but I guessing that Japanese words means same as the English) what does it means in Japanese, I was thinking about replacing Japanese words with English and write some additional info on lower part. Some thing Like this: - Gym - Training area --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Hangar - Wanzers Armory Etc… What do you think ? Or may be if I find Tim that is responsible for dividing screen (you know that background thing) I will change it and leave only place for English words. But this kind of modification will cause patch to be much bigger. But who cares

we know about this tim2 files (363 359 355 351 347 343 etc) mungos extract about 500 but in iso its about 4000 then we search fonts we found this tim2 (but while not found needed fonts) now the base pics its not priority... ps: example of experiments on 21 jan:  of cause its only experiments if&then we will more close with it we do it more good (change fonts and borders)

The game's font is usually stored in the elf file if there's not a specific archive.They're usually in 4bpp linear reverse.
i had some suspect about elf but first file in big-dat is font in tim2...but no this font needed ok i will try to find infos about "4bpp linear reverse"
