I'm a big fan of them. 1 is a very stark RPG, in all aspects, and that's what really draws me to it. 2 is much more complex and has a pretty interesting storyline, and the addition of the Robot class changes a lot of things up. 3 is the most similar to a Final Fantasy game of them all, but is still a really good RPG.
I played the first two when I was a kid (10 or 11?), so maybe nolstagia colors my views of them. I didn't play 3 until a long time later (2002, I think), but I had so much fun I beat it in one crazy ass 18 hour marathon session.

But yeah, to get on topic, thanks for the hack, Skygor: I'll have to play through it later when I have the time.
