Rent A Hero (SEGA MD/Gen) English Translation

I'll throw in my 2 cents with yet another of those "I'm glad someone is working on this" posts. This is the Genesis RPG I'd most like to see translated.
But I would go farther and say I'm glad you, Paul, are working on this since you have a really good grasp of the language.

I would offer to help hacking, but I haven't touched 68000 code since my college days on a Mac!  Still, I'm going to have to learn it sooner or later as I'm dying to make a hack for Shining Force CD to allow the 3rd campaign to be played on an actual Sega CD w/o the Memory Cart.

And, don't worry about not getting it out right away.  Better to do it right then to rush it.

I'd be willing to attempt helping with graphic edits if you need anyone for that.

(on an unrelated note, I'm glad someone else was annoyed by the RAM cart with SF:CD - bloody annoying that was, as was wiping my entire internal memory - they didn't even allow you to play about without using saves!)

Today I finished the first draft of the English script. Now it's time for editing, a little hacking, and some playtesting...

Hihi, any news on the play testing?  I've been looking for this to happen for years now, and I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw this thread
