A french team made a 90% complete said only really issue is typos due to space. A while back I heard someone was trying to contact the team to get an English translation going. Anyone have any news on an update to that? Here is the french translations webpage (I think) with the patch and information. http://traf.romhack.org/index.php?p=patchs&pid=941

The last news I heard about it was from DeJap in 2003. I'm sure someone has tried since then, but I can't think of anyone offhand. Obviously a great many things have changed in the last decade and what must have once seemed like an insurmountable task is something that I'd imagine could be done. According to the old DeJap website there's a PS1 and Saturn version as well, but the Neo-Geo is the easiest to hack. I don't know if that's still the case at this time (with PS1 emulation and tools being more readily available) but I'd obviously defer to Dark Force's knowledge of the subject.
"Remember when we were in Japan? You said you were my gun, if you're the gun then that means I'm the bullet."

"All my life I've been waiting for the gunpowder to go off, you know what you need to ignite gunpowder? You need a gun."

I was reading on a thread gosh I wish I could find it again of a translator trying to contact the french translation team. I know someone's working on it not duece but he can do what he wants and its not tux either the french patch can be used on real hardware unlike tuxs efforts. Not knocking tux that's my homeboy.

yea that's tux's it uses a hack to translate and can't be used on a real system. but the french patch can be used on a real neo geo cd system.

Btw why was my post modified and took the translated readme out which had links to the webpages with information on the hacking process and updates? Guess ill just repost it.

The only one who had been known to work on a translation was Deuce.
And I think he quit. But Google would be the best to check for info.
I know he quit this site years ago and was updating on neo-geo.com until I think he got banned there.

He hasn't quit. He was showing current/new work on Twitch a few weeks ago.

Okay, I thought I read he posted a quit message before getting banned.
I'm wrong then.
