It went off topic when someone said something about how X is better than Star Wars... and then the next post would be all " Y is better than X and Star Wars"

Hmm...  Well, you either really loved or utterly hated the two sets of shorts.  I for one really liked them, minus maybe one or two segments.  The main plotline of the first set (Ventress and her defeat) is particularly good.  Most of the other segments are jedi/clones being awesome(ish).

As for the show, it got a whole lot better once Lucas's daughter became involved.  Then it started to borrow heavily from the sith stuff in the KOTOR universe.  Try to find something from a later season before judging it too heavily.  It's not, say, Legend of Korra, but eh. 

If they did do another set of movies they have plenty of stuff to draw from.  In particular, something KOTOR era or a rendition of Zahn's Heir to the Empire series would be excellent.
