Not sure what I think about the "pledge X amount get X benefit" bit of it.  But I'm interested in seeing how this goes.  Fargo is a bit of living legend.

I do miss the glory days of Interplay.  Baldurs Gate I and II plus Icewind Dale made it pretty damn exciting back then.  According to Fargo, Interplay failed because they missed the timing of getting into consoles when consoles were rapidly replacing the PC in terms of gaming and sales.  I don't know if that's the whole truth, but I do miss those days.

It'll now support DLC! Enjoy the new R0X0R +8 item set available for just $4,99 and several new story DLCs (14,99 each) that don't actually add any stories, but let you fight against randomly generated monster hordes. And don't worry about the oudated-ness of the game, the DLC were made with modern design sensibilities in mind, which means instead of confusing 7 or 8 answer options per dialog you'll now only get 2, which are different wordings for "Yes" and "Yes".

Well, at least Bioware has nothing to do with it anymore right? So maybe it won't be so bad after all.

More frightening is the prospect that they'll be using 4th edition rules. And then add in their own little mary-sue Dragonborn with a tragic past and an edgy attitude! And some of his click quotes are pop-culture references!
