Translation Requests

I suppose the proper term for it would be that they hit it with a car, threw it in a ditch and left it to die.

I think the best way to refer to what happened is some little shits on the dev team got egotistical, decided they were awesome and the original writers/producers weren't, and got the rest of the team on their side.

And lost so, so badly.

Comment: A horizontal shooter based on the popular Macross series. This looks to be a quick project. Not much needs translating. Mainly some of its Engrish, such as the stage intro screens, turned into English.

Comment this is a strategy game made by square... what makes it particulary interessing it's that it's full of crazy jokes and it's a really wacky game,in fact this one features a parody of FF4 elemental fiends (http://cocktail.daa.jp/game/SuperFamiCom/hanjuku_hero.shtm) the series also got some sequel for ps2 (actualy in the ps2 one you fight the 3D invasors with your 2D army) so i always wondered why nobody wanted to pick this up
 

Supposedly there were too many jokes that wouldn't translate well into English.

I know an English DS version (Egg Monster Heroes) was one of the first revealed games, but that seems to have fallen off the face of the Earth (somehow I don't see this being like Crystal Chronicles and suddenly reappearing after years of hibernation).

i have heard of that but i don't know... just to make a recent example i'm pretty sure mother 3 does have his nice bag of jokes that doesn't translate well into english but people are still translating it

Comment: Despite having nearly the same name, it isn't related to its GBA cousin. Different publisher and developer. More use of Japanese as well.

What about these poor forgotten handheld systems games: Densetsu no Ogre Battle for Neo Geo Pocket Color,
and Front Mission for the Wonderswan Color?

I know they have been translated for other systems. But no matter how small, didn't both of these games have some exclusive content not available in other versions?

Comment: This game was one of those gems for the Saturn late in its life. The tone of the game is quite dark, can be categorized as steam punk and it seems to try to be German or something. Someone already took it upon themselves to translate the script, but while it probably is accurate, it could use a rewrite.

Comment: Another Tales game that namco released and said that it will never be released outside japan TT_TT. Some say it's just another Tales game but it really rocks and the gameplay and story is good.
