The only depth problems I have in 3D games occur when they won't let you change the camera position. In Mario 64, you could pretty much pick any angle by rotating the camera. When there was an iffy jump, you could essentially make it 2D as far as your controls and perspective. CV64 didn't really do that. In fact, I don't know what the real difference was between camera modes. I think you selected between normal, movie, and something else. None of them really did much. Bizarre. And the washed out colors of the characters was just

The worst case in my book was Metroid Prime (and I assume the sequels). Jumping itself isn't an issue but "precision" jumping in an FPS is usually a failure, and Metroid Prime was a prime culprit. Hell, I think it might have been worse than Hexen (N64).
