But don't half those systems look like crap on that HD tv as we discussed in another thread?
I'd say just last generation. Stuff that actually interlaces. Most stuff before the PS2, GC, and XBox were non-interlaced, low-resolution modes. A few games used it in menu screens and such (
Secret of Mana,
Alundra 2), and the N64 had those hi-res modes that looked nice but typically tanked the framerate. Older stuff looks pretty darn spiffy on an HDTV, as long as you're using something better than composite. (And even that's not
too bad.)
