ROM Hacks: Bugfixed version of Cheetahmen II

This game is infamous because it’s one of the worst games ever made. It’s full of all sorts of glitches and it’s extremely hard because of it’s glitched gameplay. The game couldn’t even be finished.

Now, you can play with all those bugs fixed so the game can be completed with no problems. No more enemies disappearing, all levels load correctly, and no annoying level number glitch (levels 4, 5 and 6 were called level 3).

Game unfinishable? Bosses disappearing? How could those showstoppers escape the notice of developpers? Seriously?

Dude, it's like the most famous crappy unlicensed game on the NES.

I was under the impression the most famous one was Action 52... Which has Cheetahmen 1 in it.

I can't belive someone took the time and effort to bugfix this "game" which is basically a giant set of bugs and glitches.

And if you've heard of AVGN the angry video game nerd you should absolutely watch his episode about Action 52 and Cheetahmen II.

Considering this game was never officially released, that's understandable.

However, was Cheetahmen I completable?  I never did get through that game.

This is because the music is incredible. I mean, the game is also incredible, but in the exact opposite way.

I now understand why I've never heard of the Cheetamen license:

Action 52 (which contained the first Cheetamen) was never released in good ol' Europe...This title was US only.

I've just heard some tunes on Youtube and, considering the system limitations, they're indeed really good. The remixes are even better.

Elder Scrolls Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas. These games make Action 52 look competent and they got released.

They’re full of bugs for sure, but they do not by any means make Action 52 look competent.

Is there a playthrough of the previously inaccesible levels up anywhere yet?
