Hi Aptony,
nothing to thanks, this games are almost my babies now heheh.
OK, what I say now is just my analysis on the fly of what i see from your screens because I stay at work and don't have time to check it myself.
Deufeufeu had the "bad" habit to convert values to decimals making sometime difficult to see some pattern in the hex code.
The first thing I do is to convert those big numbers to hex and u get:
<35:0052,7207><35:0053,7207><35:0054,7207> and to forget because always the same: <36>{82}
<35:0052,5804><35:0053,5804><35:0054,5804>
<35:0052,C607><35:0053,C607><35:0054,C607>
What sequence are those text in the script files?? I assume I am correct here.
[24]Today's Channeling
[25]Kurain Village
[26]The girl earlier
[27]After talk to her about the 3 things
[28]Continue with the game
Actually if you think it thrue, the game will have a code at he topic selection screen that say something like:
check if topic selected
if topic = Today's channeling, go to [24]
else if topic = Kurain Village, go to [25]
else if topic = The girl earlier, go to [26]
else if topic = all read, go to [27] (or by exiting from "topic selection screen")
else error
So u see that the pointers are elsewhere than on those scripts because those are after the selection and the text.
For me this <35> look for me like a "flagging" control code (set values "as read" and make the "visum" appear on the topic selection screen appear.
You said that just deleting 1 character in the first topic (Today's channeling) made it jump to the second topic (Kurain Village)??
If yes and the order is the same as above, it's strange...there must be something at the beginning of the text that say like "I am the text of a topic" and the game ignore everything till there.
There was other such windows before that already on the game (when talking with Grossberg or Maya on the Visitor center), you didn't have the same problems there??
I hope I gave you some ideas.
I have a version of the splitter but it need to write down the offsets by hand and i still didn't had time to do it.
I have already asked for another version that automatically read the pointers.
I will keep my eyes open for those buttons.
AAI2 will not be localized and there are already at least 3 groups (+1 group indirectly) working on it:
English at the court record:
http://z11.invisionfree.com/court_records/index.php?showforum=26French here but they have the priority on AAI1:
http://aai-fr.keuf.net/German group is in the same situation as the french
And the last is still is a secret.
We have sure enough people to translate the text and they are working on it but we are missing people that will work directly on the rom.
Anyway this a screenshot of a demo running on emulator i made

And the font resized,VWF and automatically the 3 lines and not only 2 like the Japanese:

At the moment exactly working into know the control codes and the jumps like yours :p
