I would like to beta test.

Here it is! Fire Emblem NES translation beta version. It should be fully translated, but I would like you to test it to see if I haven't made any spelling/grammar mistakes or forgot anything. If you see any bugs also be sure to report it.

Things you should be wary of:
-Chapter 1 to 6 (after chapter 6 I reinserted the tiles, I think I changed all dialogue from these chapters, but please check that)
-Alan's ending (I chose Samson...)

Thanks in advance for testing it. If some people completed the game without reporting any bugs or so I will release the final patch.

Awesome translation ive been waiting for this game to finally get one, now time to wait for the rest of the gambare goemon games and tales games and ill be set

Today I've messed a bit with dialogue pointers and this is the result:

However, since I don't have unlimited space I will use this for some dialogue that needs it most.

I have tested the beta patch, and found some bugs in the translation, like so and so is killed (from my party).  Or when Minerva decides to leave, she goes "This is unbearabl    "  I also remember an error in translation when I decline a transaction from the armory, the guy just speaks gibberish.  I'll look for more errors as I continue playing.

I downloaded the beta via the link that was on reply #171.  When I look back at it I saw 2 different versions...perhaps I downloaded the wrong one?  Which beta has the latest fix again?  The one that says "Quirino is killed"? Was it the 0.9.04 or 0.9.1?

You should be enshrined!  You are the first to translate (almost) completely the original "Fire Emblem", which according to my research, others tried only to give up!

0.9.1 is the latest, but it's an unstable version. I tried to repoint some text to fit in more dialogue (especially at the houses) but at some houses the game somehow resets. I'll fix this in 0.9.2
