This is the VWF that Squaresoft used in several of their SNES RPGs. It’s based on a Mac OS Font called Chicago, hence its name here. The font is popular among fan translators, and has been used in numerous projects. This particular variation was ripped from the US version of Final Fantasy VI, and lacks any shadowing since the game added a drop shadow to it automatically.
Please note that the included table includes all of the control codes, icons, and DTE entries used by the original game. Additionally, the opening quotation mark is represented by a caret (^) and the ellipsis by an underscore (_) for easier entry with a US keyboard.
