I’ve been a big gaming fan my whole life, and when I got a decent computer in 1997, it was time to get into emulation. In my senior year of high school (2004) I was given some romhacking tools, but I never really knew how to use them. In 2006, I looked up a bunch of documents and tools on how to romhack, and started teaching myself from those, and then later that year, I joined the RHDN forums. I started hacking to get some Japanese games we’ve never seen out, though right now I’m concentrating more on re-translations than I am actual translations.
I’ve recently delved into the world of ASM hacking for the SNES, so now the world is mine! Err… you know what I mean. Lots of possibilities have arisen thanks to that (and the mentoring of RedComet and DaMarsMan!).
