With well over 60 translations released, Aeon Genesis stands as one of the most well known and respected “groups” in romhacking today. Like many groups, Aeon Genesis is the brainchild of a single hacker, Gideon Zhi, who outsources various tasks such as translation to other people.
Aeon Genesis typically focuses on bringing lesser known Japanese games to English speaking audiences, rather than games produced by the big names in the biz. That’s not to say AGTP is above working on the more prominent of games. Quite the contrary. One will find they’ve focused almost equally as much on widely known games as they have the obscure titles.
