This is an English language translation patch for the Saturn version of Policenauts (1996), a visual novel written and directed by Hideo Kojima and the spiritual successor to his earlier game Snatcher.
It’s the final and most complete version of the game. Its new features include an in-game glossary, light gun support, new scenes, new shots, and new dialogue, as well as an updated translation (based on the PlayStation version patch). Please refer to the readme file for a complete list of differences.
The project began in 2009, shortly after the release of the PlayStation version patch. It’s well worth checking out for fans of the game, Kojima fans, and those interested in near-future sci-fi adventures!

For fans of the traditional ancient Chinese game Go, here is an English translation for the Famicom game, Igo: Kyuu Roban Taikyoku. This game uses the simple 9 x 9 board grid so it is a nice introduction to the game for those starting out playing this board game. The objective of Go — as the translation of its name implies, is to fully surround a larger total area of the board than the opponent. Hope everyone enjoys this one!

This is an English translation of Artdink’s Lunatic Dawn: Passage of the Book, which serves as a sequel/remake to Lunatic Dawn: Book of Futures, the translation of which was released here some months back.
Originally released for Windows PCs in 1997, Lunatic Dawn: Passage of the Book is open world dungeon crawler, somewhat along the lines of MicroProse’s classic RPG Darklands, but with some unique (and uniquely Artdink) twists of its own. For instance, the primary translator for this project, Helly, noted situations in which your party members could get annoyed with you, leave your party, start doing quests on their own, get married and have children, and take out some of the bosses instead of you.
Updated to run on modern PCs around 2007, it was finally made available to Western audiences via Steam in early 2015, albeit in an untranslated state. This project started shortly thereafter to rectify the lack of a translation for the Steam version.
While this translation is still being regarded as a beta – there are a lot of random elements, obscure events, and, as noted above, things that can go off the rails, all of which complicate testing – it should be fully playable.

A few months after the English dub of the original BS Zelda no Densetsu, another obscure The Legend of Zelda game has been restored with a full English dub!
BS Zelda no Densetsu: Inishie no Sekiban, informally known as BS The Legend of Zelda: Ancient Stone Tablets, was an episodic SNES game exclusively released in Japan through the Satellaview peripheral. The game was a score attack version of A Link to the Past featuring CD-quality music and voices, but needed to be played during a satellite broadcast to achieve that, causing the game to be unplayable otherwise. While the core game code was salvaged from re-writable 8M Memory Paks, the introduction cutscene, indoors data and audio track was lost, with the exception of surviving VCR footage playthroughs from original players. However, during the past 10 years, the BS Zelda HomePage community was able to restore the game to its original glory bit by bit, and the English dub was the final step of this restoration.
The 4-hour English dub is available in both the original music arrangement and a custom orchestral arrangement, features a full voice cast including professional voice actress Kira Buckland (Danganronpa, Disgaia, Skullgirls) as Zelda, and is even playable on real hardware with a sd2snes.
While the audio files are too big to be hosted on RHDN, they are available on the BS Zelda HomePage.

Hey folks, today we present you another completed translation of Musashi no Bouken or The Adventures of Musashi Jr.
Way back in 2000, this game was translated by Gaijin Translations and it was bluntly stated in the readme that the script had to be butchered in order to fit the script back in. So aishsha and Pennywise took it upon themselves to hack and translate the game scratch with a little help from Ryusui, harmony7, FlashPV, Xanathis, cccmar and whoever helped us on this one. This translation didn’t take us very long to finish, especially compared to some of our other projects and it was relatively easy to work on.
Anyhow, the game is your typical DQ clone that is loosely based on the life and times of Musashi Miyamoto. It’s a fairly short game with some humor sprinkled in and comes recommended to those who enjoy these older games.
Enjoy!
